Just checking in to say hello. I wouldn't worry too much you guys, we waited 142 days so your time is very soon!

I called the NVC and they received our petition and said it was forwarded to the Consulate and gave me our new receipt number. I forgot to ask what day it left, but it's gone and probably arrived.

Now we wait for packet 3!

Can't wait to get it, so I can send it right back!

Removing Conditions

Sent package to VSC - 8/12/11

NOA1 - 8/16/11

Biometrics - 9/14/11

Dont know about Canda but the Manila Embassy Philippines no longer mails out packets you have to download them off the website and turn them in during your interview, PI only does what was called packet 4, no packet three. I have already downloaded all the forms listed on the site and sent them Fedex to Radz. She was going to pay Delbros today for Packet verification and once the froms get there she has to go to Davao with DS 157 pay the Embassy Fee and get the back of the form validated to show its been paid at the embassy. Hopefully we will have that all done by next week and then we just have to get a interview date. Hopefully we can get that done in the next couple of weeks and with any luck maybe get an interview in Dec. Well thats the hope but wouldnt be suprised if interview is in Jan. Well Good Luck everyone and hope to see some more approvals soon.

And then there is the Nairobi Embassy, which supposedly mails out one packet (with all the forms)--but I have heard that it always arrives really really, late--if ever--and it is better just to go to the Embassy and pick it up yourself! That is what we will do--since my fiance lives in Uganda, we'll try to make the Medical Exam, and interview all around each other so we only have to go to Kenya once. Crossing my fingers!

I haven't gotten even a touch yet, so I am probably over-thinking myself :) Just want to be prepared so we can whiz through after USCIS...

Hey guys, this is a first post but i've been a regular visitor. We just recieved a letter from NVC saying our K-1 petition was approved and was being forwarded to the 'appropriate visa issuing post' but we haven't recieved an NOA2, and the website still says pending (touched 10/31/08, previous touch was 7/29/08). But then again, they said the application was being forwarded to Montreal even after we said Vancouver. I'm guessing we should call NVC or should it be Montreal Consulate to have it forwarded to Vancouver?

Same here my case is still saying pending but we received our NOA2 on Firday, it seems that things are a bit Wacky at VSC at the moment. We have not had any notification that it has been forwarded yet

I would give them a call 0016033340700 press 1 for English then 5 you will need your eac number and both your dates of birth

They are a bit busy at the moment I tried to call a couple of times and just got put back to the automated service

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS

Steven,

No more DV either for the Philipipnes. Radz will have to secure CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) from the NSO herself. The DV had been stopped by the Manila Embassy since Octobet this year due to so much backlog and NSO not being able to deliver as per SLA agreement.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
