That's what I think also. I'm thinking most of those that got that last touch on the same date are all in the same box. It seems there are times that they are pulled off and not working them, and then they get put back on them and it takes up where it left off.

When they are working them, they are now getting around 4-5 a day out. Just a matter of keeping them focused.

I'm looking for a series of them to go tomorrow or sometime next week.

Just my opinion, and I know it is no comfort to those waiting. I was about insane myself. All I can say is, all of the suffering was gone in a second, when I saw that "Approval Notice Has Been Sent."

Hang in there people!!! It CAN'T be long now!!!:angry::whistle:

Igor's List shows out of the last 20 NOA2s, 16 were Junes. Your NOA1 was early June, so I'd say any day now they could be working your case--and that's when the waiting is worst, when it can come at any time.

Wikipedia states:

"The stated priorities of the USCIS are to promote national security, to eliminate immigration case backlogs, and to improve customer services."

"Unlike most other federal agencies, USCIS is funded almost entirely by user fees. [3] Under the President's FY2008 budget request, direct congressional appropriations will make about 1% of the USCIS budget and about 99% of the budget will be funded through fees. The total USCIS FY2008 budget is projected to be $2.6 billion."

Now I don't hold an MBA from an ivy league school and I don't claim to be well versed in mircoeconomics, but I am not entirely ignorant either.

Supply and demand is perhaps one of the most fundamental concepts of economics. Certain visa programs are available for "premium processing" offering expedited visa approvals for a premium fee thus offsetting the ridiculous unnecessary waiting times that family based visa applicants are forced to endure.

So basically if you are the CEO of Northrup Grumman and your company sponsors 100's or 1000's of H1-B's annually for military purposes and you hold hundreds of millions of dollars in USCIS contracts, not to mention the blanket purchases you have made within the agency of course your lobbyist can get what he wants!

This is just one example of the corporatocracy that controls your government. There is no way that the average family based visa applicant is any more of a threat than the seasonal immigrant worker! We know from a former adjudicator that it only takes 20 mins to approve a petition and an FBI check takes even less time than that.

You politicians preach family values, but at the end of the day we know why employer based visas are a high priority for you. So as you lay in your lofty suburban homes with your family there at your side I hope that our karma will soon bite you in the...

It's 4:30AM and I have a message for you

How much do I know

To talk out of turn

You might say that I'm young

You might say I'm unlearned

But there's one thing I know

Though I'm younger than you

Even Jesus would never

Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question

Is your money that good

Will it buy you forgiveness

Do you think that it could

I think you will find

When your death takes its toll

All the money you made

Will never buy back your soul

Definitely food for thought--I never considered the *real* reason for premium processing. Too bad, I don't think any of the USCIS workers bother to read this site...

And individual VJ users will never start their own lobby group because they'll (we'll) lose our steam after we get our visa and are again reunited with our loved ones. USCIS has us right where they want us
