and why should the elections matter? are they all working for the Republican party? If not, Nov. 4 should be just another day.

Because a lot of the USCIS staff got transfered to tasks related to the elections I read...

In Florida and Ohio, no doubt.

I don't know about you guy's, but I get so tired of hearing peeps say "be patient"! No I will not be patient. I will be on edge and stressed out to the max until this approval is handed out! I mean this Isn't like shopping for a pair of shoes or something! We are away from our families and most us us have been away for a long time. Anyone who advocates being patient and acts care free is suspect to me...or just plain weird!

I felt the same way, especially when I got into my estimated adjudication date range. And then the range started moving into the future... And then I caught up to it again... And then it moved into the future again... And then I caught up to it again... And then I passed my end date by a few days... I was going nuts! Knowing at any moment they could start working it.

There's no way you can be patient, but at least you know now that your case is on someone's desk and is in process. Once they get that photo attached to your file, that should be it. I'd be surprised if you're not approved within one to two days of them receiving that.

Until then, forget trying to be patient, and just do whatever keeps you sane while you trust all of your future to the USCIS.

It is so difficult to make plans together for our future when we have no idea when that will start... it is hard when everyone asks, "So when is the Big Day?" And you have to explain that you have no idea and you have to try to explain the visa process and how it could take 2 more months or it could take 6--you just never know! The only positive thing out of this is the love my fiance and I have is holding us together--actually my fiance is holding ME together! He is the patient, calm one--thank goodness one of us is!

Good luck everyone! Let's hope this is a good day!

Hey Uday, I just looked at your blog on multiply and found your writing to be really moving. I also enjoyed looking at the pictures of both of you! You two seem like such a wonderful and loving couple--I wish you all the best! It is so hard during this time, but hopefully very soon it will all be just a bad dream :star:

You are right. Sometime I had a hard time to answer people questions. The other day my fiance ask if I heard anything about our petition. Since he ask me a few times, I sent him our Noa1 and let him go online to check the status on his own. So that I don't have to answer his questions. It is true, it is hard for us to discuss about the plan for our future since when we have no idea. Also, when we get NOA2, we will to have wait for another fews months for the interviews. It is such of long process.
