Hey Anka! Looks like we sent our I-129F on the same day and received our NOA1 on the same day. I have been posting in the May filers but maybe we are June filers. I don't think it really matters as long as we are connecting somewhere. We all can use the support and encouragment! It also looks like there are 2 June threads.

Have a great week, at least I have something to look forward to, going to meet up with my boy at the end of next month for a holiday in Cancun, we dont want to risk me going to Texas as someone I Know got turned away. Todd is also gonna come over here for thanksgiving for Christmas so we are looking into that, when the visa comes it comes worrying is not gonna make it go any quicker. I just have to find things to do to make the time pass. This weekend I am off to Dublin to hang out with one of the bands I know as it is there final ever show, so that we be fun.

It's been a month since filing - and received NOA1 shortly after ... but so far, filed hasn't been "touched." Do they just let these collect dust for the first few months or should I be concerned?

According to your timeline, you received your NOA1 on 6/23. In about a week or two you will see a "touch" (or two in a row), after that nothing will happen for a couple of month or so. This is a common procedure at Vermont (from what I see here at VJ).

Just relax and be patient.

Guys you are lucky that your petitiion is being touch many times but in our case Chadherm abd kennybam , we are worried so much....We sent the 129 - f last june 27 but until now our check is not yet encash. Really frustrating.How could it happen that July filers recieved already their NOA 1 so fast but ours was not... Im really disappointed..

I know it must be so hard seeing people who have filed after you getting their NOA1 and you are still waiting for the check to be cashed.

If I was you and had nothing by the end of the week I would give them a call to see what is happening, you should have a name of who signed for it and the date, and if it has been misplaced you can redo the forms and send copies of all the other papers.

I would not worry to much about the touching it does not mean that the are actually looking at it, it might be becuase the file is being allocated, in California you can get your noa2 with no touches.

When should we officially start to worry?

Filed 30th june still no word on NOA1 or cheque cashed. We used an immigration lawyer and they got notice it was recieved 1st july, will they get notified or will we or do we just wait until cheque is cashed or the hard copy arrives?. I dont want to keep on bugging the lawyer. i want to start bugging him later on in the process when we are chasing the NOA2!! We just want this journey to START!!

Thanks so much, we are also looking at flights for Todd to come over either thanksgiving or Christmas, the wait is so much easier when you have other things to look forward to. I am so looking forward to going to Dublin for the weekend, just wish Todd was with me,

You should not worry. I Filed I-129F June 1st. They did not cash my check until June17, and my NOA1 i received June 20. Everyone's package will not be processed at the same time. It all depends on who receives the package and how fast they work. Touches don't really mean much, its nice to know they touched your package, so you know it is not lost, but you can get 0 touches posted, then get your NOA2. Just be patient everyone, try to stay busy. get everything in order for when you receive your NOA2 so the process can move much faster.
