i think your rfe will come with a reference number to locate it back to your case, im sure it will get cleared up easlier, and from what i read it may not be your lawyers fault on that, i hear the lose photos regularly there good luck

If there is in fact a reference # for that then that's great. I hope you are right Steve.

If you received an RFE, i am pretty sure you will receive the approval very soon. That usually means that they checked your case so as soon as they get the passport photo that your attorney didnt send  , you will have an answer  ....Good luck and start gathering the documents because as soon as you get your NOA2, everything will be very quick!!! Good luck with your interview !!!!

Thanks so much! I just sent out the passport photo overnight express and wrote on the outside of the envelope "RFE reply enclosed" with our alien reg and receipt number written also so we hope you are right and they pick it up quickly! I figure if we can get the approval within the first few days of Nov then we still have a shot and getting the visa before Christmas, at least there is a chance right?

It's almost time for you to finally be united with your hunny and I bet this wait for your flight out is about as bad as it was waiting on the approval hehe. It's been a long hard road, but you made it! Congrats and I can't imagine the feeling you must be having right now

What will be your port of entry?

all that touching of my file was feeling good, so to speak. but today, nothing.:angry::angry::angry::angry:

I was wondering if you have called uscis since your latest touches because ya know a lot of time the online status page doesn't update? Hope you hear something soon I know all these touches without any action is tormenting. Hope you hear SOMETHING even if it's an RFE! (not really hoping its the approval) but you know what i mean.

Has anyone noticed how a lot of us with our last tough on July 9th have not heard anything yet.... I wonder if there is a connection...

I've actually lost all hope that we'll be approved this week. I have a feeling that we will be one of the last June filers. I'm not letting myself check the USCIS site at all this week.

Just quick note to say i hope you guys hear something this week.....thinking of you!

Thanks Mike&Gracey... I never thought I would get so down about this! But seriously, this waiting is killing me. I know I shouldn't complain though because we do see eachother often and we'll be together this weekend.

I just didn't think this would be so frustrating!

I just saw that someone from Colombia with an NOA1 date of September 12th got approved! What is going on??! From deciphering the spanish in the post, it appears that they are also surprised and I don't believe an expedite was filed. I'm happy for them, but I also wish it were me or someone who filed before me! USCIS would process petitions in a more orderly fashion--waiting in line and knowing that if the person ahead of you gets approved than you're next is much less stressful than the apparent randomness that is USCIS

We should all be assigned numbers and workers should process our petitions in the order of the numbers!

I'm not really angry, just confused. But here they are anyway!

Good morning, everybody!

It's sad to see that no one else got approved yesterday. I thought this journey should from now on be quick for most of us... :(

I just hope USCIS will get back to normal processing times after the election is over. I am praying.

I don't know about you guy's, but I get so tired of hearing peeps say "be patient"! No I will not be patient. I will be on edge and stressed out to the max until this approval is handed out! I mean this Isn't like shopping for a pair of shoes or something! We are away from our families and most us us have been away for a long time. Anyone who advocates being patient and acts care free is suspect to me...or just plain weird!

and why should the elections matter? are they all working for the Republican party? If not, Nov. 4 should be just another day.

Because a lot of the USCIS staff got transfered to tasks related to the elections I read...
