^^ Yayay! Congrats! That is great to see! I love when Vermont seems to be moving!

Also, on the plus side, they updated the processing times to "6 months" which means that we've already been waiting 4 months... so the worst that can happen is that we wait another month or 2.

Removing Conditions

you have a good point there, I noticed the update also and wonder why they put 6 months instead of a date this time. Also i noticed it says as of Aug 31. But as it is now hopefully that means in a month or a month in a half on the outside we should be approved. I checked Igor's list and it showed to VSC approvals from where people updated there profiles one from June 6 and i think the other was June 18. Lets all hope they get to us soon. Good Luck everyone. I guess the good thing is that I didnt feel let down today when i checked and we werent approved yet, I guess im getting use to it, I just hope I dont get to use to it.

Hello guys,

I know this is mentioned in VJ many times but I can't find the next step after NOA2. I wanted to see if there is anyway to expedite it by prefilling the forms, contacting embassy and especially the medical exam part (e.g. what are the vaccine requirements,...). If someone could please point me to the right link would be greatly apprecaited.

thanks!

Hello!!

Soon after you receive the NOA2, your approval goes to NVC, then they send a package to the american embassy in your country. In that package you will find the forms you will fill out, and a form you shoiuld carry the day of the medical exam. You cant go to the medical exam if you dont have the letter of the embassy and the form. You can download the D156 and the D156k. Remember to make a copy of the D156.

You are right, of course. But dang! The closer it gets, the harder it gets...

It was so much easier when I first filed and I had no hope. The anticipation stepped up when the first Junes got it, and then some Julys... It hit a new level when I actually reached my estimated timespan, and then VSC started slowing and I was chasing it while it was slipping into the future. Now I am 3 days past the outside date on the estimate, and it's nearly all I end up thining about. LoL Same for my fiancee--she doesn't even know what Igor's is, but asks me several times a day, "What's our number now? Go up again??!!??"

I know it's useless, but I am about ready to give a call in and see what's up. The kicker is, they don't have to tell me anything until Dec 3....

Ahh well, it'll happen. Patience...patience...patience...

It looks to me like there is a bunch of us around the same block of time who are still waiting with people just before us and just after us who have been approved. I have a hunch we'll all get ours around the same time.

I'm getting a bit impatient, but I guess I shouldn't since there's really nothing I can do.

I'm still within my time frame, I just totally didn't think that it would take this long!
