June 2008 Filers!

I am really worried that the economy will derail this process:

-- Will USCIS (or more likely embassies) lower the threshold for rejecting K-1s?

-- What happens if I lose my job mid-process? Then I won't meet income requirements.

-- What if I can't afford to send my future wife home for regular visits?

So far, I have no immediate reason to fear for the job, but ...

Add to the anxiety I already feel about the whole thing and it's becoming unbearable, really. I am tied up in knots and obsessively checking the USCIS site for some movement.

I understand that you're worried and I believe nowadays there are only a few ppl that aren't, but it's not like you're about to start the K1 now. You're almost done, they Affidavit will be needed soon, and after the marriage for the AOS again. So since you're not too afraid that your job is in jeopardy, I wouldn't worry.

I also understand that you want her to go home every once in a while, i'd wanna go home, too. But it's not that hard to dedicate some money in a savings account every paycheck to save up for her or the two of you going home. That's how we gonna do it. It will be even better when both of you are working

Today was my interview and I was approved!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the most stressful day of my life but I did it!!!. My fiance couldnt come to the interview and I was a little worried but everyhting was smooth. Oh my God!!! I cant believe it´s over now and i have to pack to see my baby boy!!!....

Hi VJers! First time posting a message here! I am a June filer and my case got touched today! At least it shows some sort of activity, last touch was in July. It will be either an approval or RFE. Hoping for an approval, of course!!

CONGRATULATIONS you are almost there

I did not realise that they gave you a interview date before they received the packet 3 forms back, I was going to delay sending my packet 3 back when I adventually get it, as I am off to the States for Christmas but wont be able to move over until March time so did not want my interview until next year, I will have to check if this happens at the UK embassy

Try to get ongoing realtionship evaidences...

Sadly there isnt really a way to just print it off so to speak, best way is to open it up big and then screen shot it in sections, pasting each picture into word and then printing the pictures out.
