i dont know if anyone is interested in this or not but I was looking over igors list for vermont and noticed that before July 1 on the k1 filers people were getting the Noa1 around 5 to 9 days average. Starting July 1 Noa1 starting going out around 15 days for the lucky ones and most were between 20 to 30 days from when packet was recieved. Then around Aug 1 the Noa1 times started going down again to 10 days or less on average.

IM guessing something was going on in July at Vermont, I dont know if it was a audit or inventory or mass vacations, but the Noa1 times do indicate something was going on in July. Not sure how that effects us other than IM guessing that if they were Slow sending out Noa1's during that time everything else was slowed down. The fact that times sped up again starting in Aug I hope means good news and that they are working faster again.

What does this all mean? well means I have too much time on my hands to be studing Noa 1 dates is the only thing I can say for sure at this point. Good luck everyone.

I agree with your theory. I think there was definitely something going on in July/August and they are just starting to catch up.

I agree that during the summer, especially the end of June and July, they slowed down a lot. It was taking an average of 3-4 weeks for the NOA1, but we filed in August and were extremely lucky to get it in 2 days!!

Sending you June filers good vibes, this is YOUR month!! :)

im getting tired of waiting... well, im sure all of us here...

Big time... Every minute I wait is also a minute I kick myself in the butt... I could have filed in April, but decided, since I had a trip already booked for May, that I'd just wait until after the May trip and include pics and such for both--more evidence, the better...

If I'd filed in April, when it was like 60 days from NOA1 to NOA2 at VSC, I'd probably have the interview scheduled now, and be on the home stretch. As it is, it appears like they hit the wall just after I got NOA1.

The worst part is trying to encourage your finacee when all you can really say is, "Approval can come any day now...today, tomorrow, this week." And she, with full grasp of the situation replies, "Or next Spring..."

Whatever VSC and CSC are working on at the moment, I surely hope it is worthy of all this, and if it is, it should be worthy to staff up to handle it.

Ahh well, time to put the smile back on. :) I know that when it is finally finished and she is here, all this waiting will disappear into the haze of dim memory.

Does anyone know if we should have received RFEs by now (if warranted). I'm afraid that after all this time, we'll get hit with a last-minute RFE that will delay the process even longer.

Does USCIS tend to issue these requests early or late in the 'NOA2' process?
