Hope the transition and adjustment to the new job goes smoothly. I sense a bit of uncertainty...that's got to be a bit frightening. I hope that the future for all of us here is filled more with optimism and opportunity than with uncertainty and scarcity. Thanks for giving your unique and often eloquent perspective to many of the discussions we've had. :star:

I blame Steven's pic of the moccasins. At that point all was lost! Anyway....Red Shoes, eh? I believe that is an excellent choice because red always looks so sexy on a woman. A real eye catcher to be sure.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Does that mean you love me :innocent: Good luck Becca with the changes.

Sort of in that way where I'd like to take you out behind the woodshed and give you a good spanking. :P

if this involves you in a fishnet body suit, spike collar, spike heels, a leather jacket, and a riding crop, i'm so there waiting for you

as for the job, i'm confident you'll do very well in it. :luv:

Congratulations on the new job. I'm sure you'll do great. Being an admin has a lot of benefits, way less pressure, stress and responsibility. If you've done clerical work before you'll do fine.

I had my doubts I could do a good job as an admin here in the States, because not only everything is different from Brazil, the currency, banking, taxes, I also have to learn everything military style, and it's not easy.

But then I stopped to think that I used to have a way higher level of responsibility back in Brazil, supervising people and all, I put in my mind I can do this and be good at it. And if I can do it, so can you, specially with all the experience you have.

Good luck on your new job.

Becca, I have no doubts. You *WILL* succeed. I'm finding myself on the cusp of maybe having a new job m'self. IF I get this one, it will be a major change too. Oh I know about change...you know my story so you'll understand my comment. :) I figure if we can make it through all we have and land on our feet, we can do anything... even from immigration to THIS!

You go girl! (F)
