We drive less. Combine multiple trips to store into one longer trip. Hubby turns off his a/c for a lot of his drive now, and it's so hot out! But he said it really made a difference in his gas mileage. He is smart about trying to spend less money(and overly frugal at times heh). If only "paupers" are saving their gas, then I guess we can thank them for helping with our gas crisis and not thank those who gas guzzle carelessly.

The quicker we burn all available oil, the sooner we'll make the successful transition to a non-oil based economy.

The guzzlers are doing us a favor.

Exactly! Finally, someone who understands :innocent:

I have a theory that the body can only absorb a finite amount of fat in a small amount of time. So, when I encounter a box of donuts or cookies, I eat until it's all done. I trust my body will absorb what it can and excrete out the rest. If I space it out, like my wife thinks I should, all of it will go straight to my manboobs... and I don't want that.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
