i would happily pay 10 dollars a gallon if it meant i could avoid the constant barrage of discussion about gas prices.

it's all i hear all day at work. i turn on the radio and they're talking about. get home the tv is the same.

can we just shut the ####### up about gas prices?!

fine, i have to spend about 20-30 dollars more each week than i did a year or two ago. if your budget is broken over 20 dollars a week then you have bigger problems. you need to fix your lifestyle and quit complaining about this.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I'm with you on the part, that people are complaining over spending $20 more a week. I'm so sick of it. No one complains at $7 for a box of cigarrettes, so stop complaining at the price of a gallon, or do something, call Exxon or Shell.

But I am not with you on offering to pay $10 a gallon. I'm not insane.

Call Exxon? Sounds like a winning plan!

Actually I used to smoke too. Aside from being bad for my health, when prices soared, I quit.

My budget won't break over an extra $20 a week, but it's wasteful so why shouldn't I make changes in my lifestyle? School's out for the summer, so I limit my driving and I walk to my second job (it's only about 12 blocks from my house). We did move when P was here in March to be closer to my job and closer to a public transport spot for him when he moves here.

Also I don't see that this is "complaining" about gas prices. I think this is the OP asking a question out of curiosity. I didn't see any answers in this thread that said "wahhhhhh.......gas too high .... waaaahhhhhhhhh."

Oh, add me to the "pauper crowd," mmkay?
