I would suggest to proceed with your I-130... dont stop anything! Luckily you're not like me: I filed I-130 for my wife in Feb, I129F in April, and I-130 for my wife's daughter this MONTH! So i'm really depending on the I129F to bring them both here at the same time... i can't just go with the I-130 for my wife if it gets approved because then i'll leave out her daughter.

Yeah It would be CR-1 if you have been married for less than 2 years at the time the visa is issued. It will be an IR-1 if you have been married for more than two years at that time

oh we married on FEB 6th.2008, so few montsh ago.so ist IR visa...which takes long..than K3

It would be the CR-1, it is not taking too much longer than the K-3. With the K-3, you have to adjust status in the US and the immigrant cannot work or get any drivers license or other documentation until the status change is complete. The CR-1 gives the immigrant rights to work and get other documentation from the time they come in the US. But 2 years after the CR-11 is issued, you have to apply to remove the conditions of the green card.

this is excellent news coming from vermont. i really hope that the summer heat is warming their hearts up for the long waiting families that are kept apart due to unorganized processing. i think they are cleaning up their shop...next week will be a testament to this.

Congrats on the approval! I am very happy for you, but extremely pissed at VSC. I just can't understand that VSC is approving petitions from the 3 months back when people like myself have been waiting for over 7 months.
