So here is my question. In the example for it has naturalization checked but after other it specifies 1-129F Petition for Fiance but this is not checked. Is this accurate or merely showing you the usuall options.

I am in the process of filling out my I-129F for my fiance (YAYYY!!!) and when I send the G-325A to her I want to let her know what to put there. I am guessing she should check the OTHER and specify I-129F Petition for Fiance, Correct???

Paul,

I find two examples for G-325A. One, in the examples for a K1 visa, has the 'Other' box checked with the words 'I-129f petition for fiancee' written in. The other, in the examples for adjustment of status, has the 'status as permanent resident' checked and nothing written in for the 'Other' selection.

If you saw one or the other of these two examples as you describe in your post it was an error that has been corrected.

The example G-325A that you refer to is all four pages of it.......if you look at the bottom of the first page it has 'Other' checked. The G-325A which is used in the example is from the USCIS website, which unfortunately has a bug in it, so as when it auto fills it incorrectly checks 'Naturalization' box on pages 2, 3, 4. This has been happening for quite some time now. So when you do complete this form using autofill...it is best to check this box by hand to avoid this bug.
