Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

No way. I have yet to finish college and get a sturdy career before bringing a child in this life. It's something that runs in my family history along with Heart attacks so doctor wanted to test for that

Boy, it sure is a Friday the 13th for me.

My feelings and heart is going haywire.... while things are great between O and I, there are a couple things that I am having trouble getting past -- without having to change myself in a way. Grrr,, I guess that's what happen when I have too much time on hand during the day... brain goes into overdrive.

*sighs*

JP, the swelling may also have to do with the heat. We tend to retain more fluid in the summer. Just a thought.

K and 0...time will work it's own self out. Just worry about today because you never know...tomorrow may be a whole different day with better things in store!

Happy Friday guys! JP--I had gestational diabetes diagnosed at 8 weeks. Now I am being tested for Type II Diabetes because I had it early on. I am in denial though....been holding onto that paper for my bloodwork for like a month now. :crying::crying::crying: You know diabetes during pregnancy there is normally an end and then you say ...aw, can't have that it will hurt the baby....now I am thinking of excuses as why I shouldn't find out...I know stupid of me.

Great to hear going back to work is going well for you Kelly. I was thinking about you and how you were going to adjust.

Happy Birthday to my dear friend Melinda and also to Amal!!!

We are off in a few to the Islamic Society. They are having a welcoming party for my husband tonight.

We buried my grandma today and I am so thankful that hard part is over with. It was such a hard thing to go through but its all of our destiny.

Have a great weekend all!

I've resorted to sipping on Baileys this evening. I'm hoping this will help the tension I'm feeling. Waleed was supposed to get out on his break from the Egyptian military today but his commanding officer hasn't signed the release for his break yet. So we're both stuck and frustrated. I don't know what is worse. Dealing with the immigration process and all that hassle, or dealing with my Husband being kept from me in the military and having absolutely no control over it what so ever. I've been swirling with negative emotions because it's been little to no contact with him during this last period of separation and now the break is prolonged. I feel anger, sadness, depression, frustration, rage, self pity, hopelessness, and moments of calm. My poor Mom has to tolerate all my emotions while I'm dealing with or coping with this stress from the separation. She doesn't complain too much because I've been cooking nurtious meals for us and helping do the laundry and the cleaning. I've been trying to do positive things like go for hour walks in the morning with my cousin Abby, and work out M-F with my girl friend, Erin, at the gym, and I've even been moderating a summer MENA book club to keep my mind busy. I call my friends and go out and do things with them when they have a time for me, and I talk to my Mom's friends and family who have high school graduated kids looking to go to college and I act as a peer adviser for them. I'm even corresponding through email to the Borah Symposium committee that I am on and we're working on getting the president of Liberia and themes. But I am bored. All I want is my Husband. You know what maybe I need to get one of those GRE study guides and really apply my mind to it. I have ten weeks of summer break left I can either start the couch to the 5K running program or I can start adjusting and studying for the GRE. I might as well keep my options open.
