Advance Parole for K1 after marriage

My fiance will be coming next month (July) from Algeria. We met and lived together in Paris and he returned to Algeria for the fiance K1 visa. I travel frequently internationally and I have been offered a 6 month stint in Paris that I hope to begin in January. If he gets here in July and we marry in August, and file the 485 change of status in August do we have enough time to get the advance parole permit? The French government will not let him into France without it. As the spouse of a US citizen, I think that they will only require him to have a re-entry permit even though he has no Schengen visa.

What's with the high cost for the 485 adjustment of status??? Is that new?

1) His AP will likely be granted within 90 days from application.

2) An Advance Parole document means nothing to any foreign government. It is there to allow individuals back into the United States when they do not have a visa to gain entry. An Algerian national, even if they are a permanent resident of the US, requires a visa to visit France. His AP will not be sufficient for him to enter the country when he gets to the CBP officers in France. I'd suggest a bit more research on your options and what to do about the visa.
