It is very frustrating...I am even more frustrated because my case is not completed yet and I am being push down the line because of a mistake NVC made...My case should have been completed in late May and now June is almost done and still nothing...its been over a month since they had my docs...I probably won't get an interview date until October...i'm hoping for September before my anniversary (Sept 30) but that looks unlikely now...I'm planning now to go visit my husband in August instead of July because I want to spend his birthday with him...i truly thought he will be up here by then but the rate this is going I really don't think that is possible...but one thing i can admit and be thankful and grateful for is that this process has not put a toll on our relationship whatsoever...it has put a toll in our pockets but money can always be replaced...the love of your life can not...(that sounded so much like a Mastercard commercial...LOL...

haha. You know the distance hasn't strained us much either. There was the spell when hubby started freaking out about the move and change and all this stuff, but I had to slap him out of that and since then we've been really good. My dad did tell me the other day that he was sounding very frustrated cause he feels his life os own hold and without a date its like no end in sight..no light at the end of the tunnel. Which is how I feel. I know all these posts are just our rants and vents but seriously if I dont speak my mind whether on here or somewhere else I might fight someone around me if they look at me sideways...j/k....maybe.

Jgay, I saw that AirJ is gonna have another air special in August. I am looking to go in July and tix are high. Gonna wait for a last minute special....sometimes you can find great deals if u purch like a couple days before departure date.

I understand. My girlfriend's case was completed in March and she's in the same boat. She said she's tired of cussing, so she don't complain anymore.

haha  This is too funny! The other day Evan asked if I wanted to yell out some Jamaican bad wud cus I was so upset about the wait. he was like "do it! Go! Seh a cus!" Then he started going off and I didnt understand a word the man said. haha

Yeah this is my only way of venting is to write out here...i don't like to really vent over this with my hubby so we try not to talk too much about it...only when some progress comes along I will let him know...which is why I think it has not put a strain on our relationship...we always finding something to talk about and we could be on the phone for 3 hours easy...and imagine I'm somewhat a quiet person and he is really a quiet person but put the both of us together we just can't stop talking...my best friend (she is his cousin..thats how we met because i went to Jamaica for the first time in 2003 with her mother) and she can't believe that me and him can talk on the phone that long....but anyway enough of that...I heard that usually airfare goes down 3weeks before you want to fly so it is always best to book within the 3 week frame so I am going to start checking airfares the first week of August...I will look periodically now but most likely wait until August to buy....

We dont talk about this process either, cause it would drive us both insane. He only asks if I heard anything....I say no...we move on and talk about something else.

Guys, things are not looking good at the embassy. My friend, whose case was completed in April, called the NVC this morning and was told that they have finished scheduling cases for July for that particular embassy and she might get a date in August. I told her to try calling the 202 number to see if anyone can give her any better news. She has just about given up and is so depressed, I don't know what to say to her anymore.

For everyone else waiting, I wish you all the best and good luck with the rest of this process.

Isn't it a crying shame???? :crying:

I wonder if it would help to try to request a date like Trelawny did. She picked a date 2 months out and got her first choice.

I got lucky. Several people I know have tired and was told that such a request could not be made. I asked if it was anyway possible to have a late June date and it was granted. Actually, it was a blessing and it worked out so, that I could take a 2-week vacation and be in my aunts wedding which is the 21st of June. That was the only reason I asked for the last week in June.

Well I called NVC last night to only be told that I didn't get schedled for July either. Talk about dissappointed. I called again today to speak to a supervisor to ask:

On average how many openings does KNG has per month?

What is the priority for scheduling i.e. K1, K3, THEN CR/IR?

Was this new process to have the NVC shedule the interview created to expedite or organize the interviews?

What timeframe on average is it taking to have an interview scheduled for KNG?

Next month will make a YEAR in the process and 6 months of it at the NVC.

Who has that DZOS #?

Also when I asked for a supervisor I was told none available at this time.

I am a CS Manager, I know how this goes.

Frustration.

Ok Everyone,

I have called the NVC and spoke to a supervisor who has told me that interviews for KGN are still being schedule as of today. I told her that last night an operator read my the script that KGN interviews have all been schedule and we were not included. She told me that the operator was mistaken. Now I don't know who is playing but at least I have some hope as I could not sleep last night.

Lets all pray for some good news this week.

Same thing happened to me as well, lastnight I called and the rep read a script and said the month of July was filled. However, not too long ago, I spoke with a rep and she told me that they are still scheduleing and I should call back at the end of the week. I truly dont want to wait another month to find out if/when we get an interview. Lets see what happens by the end of this week. I call everyday regardless they say call back at the end of week. You never know. I'm too anxious now.

Well Well whose report should we believe????? the rep or the so call supervisor??? I called this morning and the rep read to me a script telling me that all interviews were already scheduled for July and that unfortunately mine was not scheduled. So guys i honestly dont know what to believe anymore. I guess i will just wait it out to see what happens. Let us all unite in prayer for each other.

Kish; completed the end of March I believe.

I just got off the phone with her and she's in tears. I guess she also called NVC yesterday and was told to look towards August into September. At first they told her July (maybe August). At this point, she says whatever happens...happens. Her relationship with her hubby is already strained with the distance and all he's not being support by telling her to "REMEMBER HE'S A MAN"...I was like ####### is that suppose to mean, but I already know.

That's out of line and so sad! We are woman and god knows, we have the same "heat" issues but we just deal. He needs to man-up and deal as well.

On the Embassy website you can see that the July dates are already filled up and closed...but August is fully open so I am assuming that August will have to be the next month any of us will hear anything. I have given up on trying to figure it all out. Apparently there is an Exodus from Jamaica and the dates are like booked about 4 months out. Maybe some July dates are open but that would be odd for them to give them out less than a month before the interview.
