I disagree. Think of it was being more 'involved' in your games, when you have time to play.

Wii Fit is part of the exercise routine we carry, no more.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

More involved in your game yes. But to those people who do not play video games "when we have time", it's moer or less an obsession and they dont want to go run around the block to lose weight, it is a new way for video games...I guess the people who invented were thinking of that as well perhaps. If someone wants to play their games, why not make it so they get active as well instead of sitting on their ####### all day?

Of course for some of us, nothing beats an afternoon actually doing something to excercize...but to each their own I guess:)

Now that is something I can agree with.

As someone that works with human tissue *that can be easily differentiated by lifestyle choices affecting body weight* (without being fat), all I can say is that this obsession lends itself to be included in the current obesity epidemic.

The Wii Fit is pretty clear, too. It encourages you to get going in actual physical activity in the real world.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

That's pretty funny, especially since my wife is now interested in the Wii for Wii Fit. She likes the idea being able to do light exercise without purchasing any hard-to-move equipment or going to a gym (it seems a lot of women hate working out in gyms...), so this really appeals to her. I think she likes the yoga part the best.

Seeing as how my wife is the "shy type," I have a distinct feeling I'd be dead meat if I did something like this to her. :P
