I know its hard to believe...but it will get better Nita. I waited for 17 months and it was really tough. The only thing that helped me was having small things to look forward to in the short term. Parties, events, get togethers. As each one paseed, I felt I was that much closer to seeing him.

Chocolate can be helpful too :star:

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

Some days are definitely easier than others. Smile....and think about your future together. Wishing and praying you will be together soon!

When the happiness of another person becomes as essential to yourself as your own, then the state of love exists.

Well its easier for people who already have visas/husbands in hand (lol) to say it will get better. While we all know it will, its definately not that way when you are far away.

I cry many days too girl, it will be three years apart this june - and still no visa....the tears keep on comin. I pray to God that you and I and everyone else waiting will come to better days.

Tammy

It is easy for us to say, but the time apart is something that most of us can relate to since we have been there. This too, will pass. (F) We were married more than 3 years before he got the visa, but, once that's over, all that time fades away and the future becomes more important than the time apart.

The future is always important than the time apart IMO. And looking beyond is the only that can help people get through the waits.

Nita- Yesterday I was sad and today I'm freaking pissed about the whole situation! I see people getting their visas while we're helpless in getting ours and I want to be happy for them since they deserve that but I can't help but have self pity and anger as well. The dual emotions and the ever fluctuating ride isn't ours to control. We are powerless. So I sympathize with you dear as I sulk back to my dark hole and watch the rain from the inside looking out.

I'm all cried out!!!! I don't know if I'm angry or sad or just indifferent anymore. This has got to be the worst thing I've ever had to endure in my adult life! But I keep praying - some days are tougher than others.........
