I have probably a dozen pairs of shoes (winter and summer combined).

I use the same purse for at least 2 years (winter and summer).

Can't spend a lot of money on either shoes or purses. More important things to spend my money on.

I have never understood the appeal of those purses that have the funky symbols all over them, jeez can't think of what they are called at the moment.. they look ugly and obnoxious to me..

I buy cute cheap purses from Walmart :P

There are so many great things to find in Dead Pool's post, but I think the best thing about it is the way he seems to think he's the first person who ever thought up this ka-razy theory.

Um, duh.

DeadPool is Dwight Schrute. I'm convinced now.

I also figured that I must not be a very good example of a woman after reading it.

My grandfather has far more pairs of shoes than my grandmother. Is he really a woman? Did he catch teh gay somewhere? Real men don't do shoes, that's women's hysterical nonsense.

He!!s no, real men are sitting on the couch scratching their balls while we ladies cater to their every whim. Our reward is SHOES, if we are very very lucky (becuase obvs we have gotten obese & can't fit in clothes) & Daddy gives us some pocket money.

I'm with you Marilyn, I don't want to walk around as advertising for overpriced purses. My initials are NOT LV, so why would I want a purse covered in LVs? LOL I don't want a purse covered in my OWN initials...hehehe

this argument makes no sense to me - if someone is really into shoes, they will buy a lot of them and most likely keep up with the latest fashions. They are not likely to buy more shoes than clothes because they will always fit in them - by the time they gain 10 lbs they will have moved on to another pair of shoes already.

I think it would be a lot easier for people to just tape $100 bills to their clothing and accessories. Same effect.

I've gotten more compliments on a purse that my grandmother made me out of strips of plaid flannel fabric (the way it's put together is cool) than any of the ones I've ever boughten. I told her she needs to teach me how she does it and we'd make a mint!

I used to have lots of shoes back in the Philippines. Since we got here, I just buy what is apt for the season. My husband on the other hand, he loves shoes. He probably has more shoes than I do.

I'm not much into purses either. I have lots because I tend to keep the old ones that I've "outgrown". Should seriously go through them and give them to Goodwill. Two of my sisters, on the other hand, are purse crazy. They rattle off names that I don't even know :lol: You won't see me buying expensive purses though as I'd rather "have money to put inside a purse" rather than "have a purse without any money to put inside it". :D

There is this lady I see on the bus occasionally and she wears Luis Vuitton shoes, scarf, gloves, and carries an LV purse... ALL at the same time... Seriously, she should be getting money FROM them for all of the advertising she's doing... and it's sad that with all that money spent, she just looks a bit tacky!

I don't understand either, I don't ever notice what shoes people are wearing. I happen to look at their face not their shoes. Same with purses.

i've never noticed your shoes.

that's because I leave them everywhere, since the wardrobe you brought from Germany that has a space for everything you never wanted to share with me and kept your stuff in there, I have to use 2 50X40'' closets that not only have my clothes and shoes, but also 500 boxes, and luggage, and blankets. So I'd think twice about open your mouth to make stupid jokes about it.

Edit: typo

i have that one wardrobe, you have two closets. do you need more room?
