I wrote to all the candidates already =) only McCain seem to help out (he actually contacted CSC for me), Obama was 2nd and said he will forward the letter to my senator, while didn't receive a reply from Hillary.. the other ones from the start didn't reply either.. these were all done about 200-250 days from my filing date..

Okay, i called the director's office. I was transferrred to a customer service agent. Not the ones from the 800 number. He was very pleasant and tried to look up my case. However, he said that it wouldn't be in his system. Anyway, it got me no where.

I trully wish they'd get to approving the older filers first!! My best wishes to all of you waiting for USCIS to adjudicate your case Get together and file a complaint or something as a group.. we see that they aren't paying much attention to ppl complaining on their own cases, perhaps as a large group there would be some positive action.

same here.

We are past the 6 month mark and I've seriously considered moving to my husband and scrapping the whole petition. However I applied for a position with USCIS awhile back and got a tentative job offer recently. I figure I can do more good to help by being employed with them.

Either way, something has gotta give. I may just call them back and tell'em "no husband no job". hahaha.

I scored a 100% on the screening test and they just about beat my door down trying to reach me to offer me that job. Soooo we'll see if that helps move them along.

When I read the "I-130 NOA-1 & NOA-2 Tracking Spreadsheet", I cannot understand the order.

Why are there people who sent their I-130 in March and they have a visa, and Why are there people who sent them before and we do not have anything???

I am desperate, and very sad!!!

(Sorry, My English is not very good, and maybe I did a lot of mistakes)

Hi all

We're just 3 days away from 6 months since we filed our I-130. I was wondered how many other 2007 filers out there still havent got NOA2?

Have any of you written to your Congressman for assistance? Are you calling USCIS regularly? We called USCIS for the first time this week and was essentially told to go away, as ive read here many time before, and told to expect to wait at least another 4 months

We are looking to know we are not the only 2007 filers out there still waiting and if you have any tips at all on how we can improve our chances of approval (I know there probably aren't any, but its worth asking we hope)

We applied October 29, 2007, sad thing is I have applied for the I 129 F two years ago, it was approved and my husband had his interview, everything went well except for the fact the petition expired in CSC, why it went to california, I don't know, I live in Orlando, Florida and at that time, i was to send info to Texas Service center, so actually we have been waiting three years

not on this petion just in general

I don't understand why some are approved after us either, I have called and questioned this and uscis says each case is different, they say it like a machine talking

I feel for all of you. I wonder if they pick and choose which case to work on. For example the easy looking ones and set aside the difficult looking ones. And those hard ones keep getting pushed back.

I known that each case is different, but I am sure that nobody open my case.

My case is "Received and pending" and it had a "touch" in February!

Then, I feel that nobody is working on my case, How can they explain me that each case is different or difficult or easy if nobody is reading my case???

Nobody is working on it!!! Why are they people working on new cases, and not on the old ones??

6 months is a long long time to resolve a case, DON'T YOU THINK? I belive that!!! It is ridiculous!!!!!

I know that there are people who are waiting more time, I am feel sorry for them!!

I wonder if they pick cases without looking the order!!!!

It is all a plot to get everyone to give up and withdraw their apps....thereby "reducing" their workload.

I'm not joking.

I once called and said I was thinking of withdrawing. (didn't mention that I was going to do a direct consular filing while staying with my husband in his country). They will give you ALL KINDS of information on how to cancel and even where to send it to. SOOOOO Enthusiastic about it too. That is a SHAME!

My husband laughed his head off when he heard this. He's in favor of me doing it so I can leave the U.S and we can file from his country while living together, but I just won't let them STEAL our "hard waited" 6+ months of time. I would have to be a resident in his country 6 months BEFORE I could even file.

Im convinced they do pick and choose but I think it's by random rather than design. Afterall I dont see how all these petitions waiting from 2007 could all be difficult cases, the percentage is just too high.

In our case for instance we presented tonnes of evidence all sectioned off neatly and labelled. In terms of background checks neither of us have criminal records and we both have very respectable jobs and incomes. So Im not sure if they could ever argue our case was 'tricky' from the criteria as I understand it. Im sure this is true for lots of other people waiting too.

I reckon they probably just pick the cases about to fall out of the 20ft piles surrounding them....

These Vermont Service Center people are a joke, I dont regret doing alot of things in my life. But filing for Cr-1 visa the biggest misstake I ever made.
