Are there any 2007 filers still awaiting NOA2

Hi all

We're just 3 days away from 6 months since we filed our I-130. I was wondered how many other 2007 filers out there still havent got NOA2?

Have any of you written to your Congressman for assistance? Are you calling USCIS regularly? We called USCIS for the first time this week and was essentially told to go away, as ive read here many time before, and told to expect to wait at least another 4 months :unsure:

We are looking to know we are not the only 2007 filers out there still waiting :crying: and if you have any tips at all on how we can improve our chances of approval (I know there probably aren't any, but its worth asking we hope)

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

I wish everybody's I-130 approval soon. From Delicia's spreadsheet, average time for approval since filing is 160 days. But many have already crossed this average mark. USCIS sucks :devil:

Nevertheless, I wish everybody for a speedy approval :thumbs:

Thank you so much everyone for your replies. :D

I feel glad that we're not alone, but sad for all of us that the system seems to be letting us down. I keep reading about 2008 filers already in the NVC process. Of course I dont begrudge those who are approved and wish them all the best, I just wish USCIS would deal with cases in a more logical order!

If we get together a big party for all the people who didnt receive NOA2, we'd have an ARMY!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Please consider it as a serious issue for family re-union!

April 2007 here.. and messed up too.. just don't give up and keep fighting.. I'm using my last "ace" card (the writ of mandamus) and hopefully that will work out soon..

I have seen in www.immigrationportal.com, they have forwarded similar kind of issues for naturalization to Mr. Obama! I was the forum member over there as CTN400 and helped a lot to get the idea of naturalization date for the state of Connecticut, by extensive stats and spreadsheet.

Its a great idea, I suggest to all that are beyond 180 days, to step up.

I wrote to all the candidates already =) only McCain seem to help out (he actually contacted CSC for me), Obama was 2nd and said he will forward the letter to my senator, while didn't receive a reply from Hillary.. the other ones from the start didn't reply either.. these were all done about 200-250 days from my filing date..

if anyone is willing to call, can you please post who of these on the list are the most helpful? I called the Director's office before a few times and got transferred to the Washington DC Center USCIS (202 area code)..
