I am planning to apply for naturalization this month but i have problem regarding Part B of Form N 400. This is regarding the spouse information: my husband is incarcerated since 2 years ago, what home address should i use for him? would this affect my application? we are still married until now. I am hopeless. waiting for your help.Godbless :crying:

The basic rule is be honest. As long as you were no way involved in whatever caused him to be in jail you should be fine. You have a valid marraige.

First visit:2007-09-12 to 2008-09-23

I-129F Sent : 2007-11-24

The basic rule is be honest. As long as you were no way involved in whatever caused him to be in jail you should be fine. You have a valid marraige.

They seem to want to know everything about the US citizen spouse if you are going for the three year PR date, hmmm, jail or prison, in the military or away for college, always use the home address, guessing it's the same, but may want to attach a note that he is currently serving a term for so long and so and so prison or jail.

Often wondered if the USCIS has a help line like the IRS for questions like this, ha, did call the IRS to see if I could deduct all those immigration expenses, was told yes if these expenses were to bring a person here as an employee, since I have a business and was intending to marry this employee, elected not to, that can get hairy.

It never seemed right to me that we have to hire either a tax or immigration attorney to fill out a government form, but they got you, if you fill out the form incorrectly, you have to pay the consequences and can be a lot more than the price of an attorney. Talked to my senator about this, just way too many problems, suggested they rip up all the laws since the constitution and start from scratch to make laws and forms that are comprehensible, that got a laugh.
