Hi guys,

I thought of creating a thread for us so we can keep each other updated on the status of our petition. Alizeyah who filed on Feb 3 has already been approved. I hope we will see more approvals soon. This whole process has been very stressful indeed.

really? wow. congrats. my fiance sent the papers on feb 27 and they got at at 29 received NOA1 at march 8. from where u are? bcuz till now we didnt heard any update on our case. we are aiming to hear good news soon. hope ushow up your timeline. tnx.

Do u intend to call the NVC after receiving NOA2 or you'll just email them? I do hope you'll be in US by 8-8-08. Where in US are you headed?

You think I should call them? I was notified NOA2 via email, still haven't received the hard copy. Below is the notification I got:

Receipt Number: waC0808650***

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 9, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I feel like i should be doing something about it All I need to find out is my MNL case number so I could schedule my interview right away right?

Oh by the way my fiance is in military (nevada national guard) so i'll be heading to Vegas where he lives now and get married there. How about you?

Grabe sobrang inggit ako sau kase approved ka na. I saw three Feb approvals in Igor's list just now and I can't wait to get mine. I hope every thing will work out kase sobrang frustrated na talaga ako. I had to wait for more than three years because of his citizenship kaya sana maging ok na talaga. I think you should call them or you can email them as well. It takes them 4 days ata to reply emails (based from what I read in VJ). Maybe in 2-3 weeks you will have your case number already. My fiance is in California so I'll be going there hopefully in October.

Hi bevs, actually my petition was not yet approved. It's Alizeyah who got an approval. Since the petiton has been filed my fiance called up USCIS around 5x already and they always tell him to wait and wait. The last time he called up (1st week of June) he was told to wait for another 2 mos. It could be earlier daw or longer. Since there are Feb approvals now I'm really hoping that we'll be approved soon. By the way I'm currenty residing in Las Pinas and working in Makati. How about you?

ic, yeah we also tried to called USCIS before since we didnt heard any updated on our case since today. that really frustrate me alot, but i cannot do nothing about it, eveni wish i could. we also waited for this for almost 3 yrs now, since my fiance is not a USC born. and this is also a heart break for me seeing our son grow everday w/o his daddy here physically with him. lucky my love one always visit us every twice a year. im here at Mindanao. and im headed in Idaho when time comes. i wish us luck and hope we hear good news about our case soon.

hello jen. yeah u can give them a call 2 weeks after u got your NVC, then u can choose your sched when to have the final interview and weeks before your interview for your medical exam. let your fiance call them the USEM, since they more intertain them than us. GOOD LUCK. hope mine comes next.
