I used to have a lot of respect for McCain. Hell, I even considered supporting him over Hillary if she had run. But then McCain shifted on all the major positions he held in opposition to the disastrous Bush administration (that opposition having been the very reason I liked and respected him) and effectively became Bush's Poodle. I neither respect nor like the McSame that is now running for President. When it became clear that the McCain that ran for the GOP nomination in 2000 isn't the McCain that is running in 2008, I would have actually supported Hillary over him. Just based on the issues that matter.
