Your A# is the alien registration number. I don't have a K1 visa yet but I know that's the number which is usually used. Not sure you what you need yours for.

The one starting with the 'A' is ... the oft asked about A#. And be aware that not all consulates put this number on the visa.

For the Visa Number you can use either the black Control Number in the upper right area of the visa or the red number below it in the lower right area of the visa.

there are numbers on the US visa attached to my passport.where exactly is the visa number?is it the one in red ink?or the one wiht an "A" before the number?
