Hi everyone, well we got the request papers and they told us that we have to send them a copy of my husbands I-94, visa page of his passport, birth certificate, and an I-864 Affidavit of Support. But we made copies and gave it to them, I guess that they propably lost the papers or something. But anyway I was looking at the forms of Affidavit of Support and I saw that they have to forms of them. Which one do I need to print out is it the I-864A, I-864EZ, I-864W, or the one that says I-864. I hope someone can be able to help me with this. Thanks

Primary sponsor can use either I-864 or I-864EZ.

I-864EZ is used in cases where: (NO assets being used, NO joint sponsor, and only ONE immigrant is being sponsored)

Note you would get more responses if this were in the Adjustment of Status forum.

The I-864A is if someone in your household is making their income available to you in order to meet the poverty guidelines.

The I-864EZ is if you qualify on income alone and are not going to be using asset information.

The I-864 is if you are going to use income and assets.

The I-864W is used for exemption purposes as they are listed on the form.

In most cases you will use either the I-864 or I-864EZ. If you have a cosponsor, they would need to fill out the I-864 as well. If a cosponsor lives in your household they would fill out the I-864A.

Thanks everyone for the reply. But I'm still confused. My dad is our co-sponsor and he DO NOT live with us, do we still use the I-864EZ,or the I-864? Thank You
