Hello all you yardies,

Im so frustrated with this process. Has anyone received an interview date for Kingston yet??/ :unsure:

Im not even sure whats going on with these people. One minute they tell you to call the second week on each month for scheduled interview, next thing they are telling you to call the third week! Whats wrong with these people man!

Can someone from yard let me know if they are experiencing the same problem. My case was completed on April 25th...i know my fellow yardies like Marlita and Tash is still waiting :angry:

Come on already!!!!!

I second that...my case is not even completed yet and my docs been at NVC for over a month now...they made a mistake and said that i am suppose to send my birth certificate and its not even required and because of their mistake I have to wait another 10-15 days for a supervisor to make the fix...I did not get that message until June 3 when my AVR changed...so it probably won't be fixed until next week where i'm hoping to get a case complete...I spoke with a supervisor yesterday about this and she told me that I shouldn't complain about that because that is the least of my problems and that Kingston embassy is so backed up...she said thousands of applicants go through kingston for every visa in the book...and kingston only gives an update once a month with a list of what type of visa they are scheduling for and for how many in each category...The Jamaican VJ crew are probably not even a handful of applicants that NVC is dealing with for Kingston which is why we think that there weren't a lot of scheduling for June and why we haven't heard anything yet for July...NVC screwed me and Kingston is the worst.... :crying::crying:

All i can say is wow.....today i felt like crying but i will not. I refused to be defeated by this whole immigration process.

Kingston it seems is the worst in the world when it comes to scheduling apppointments. If after being married to your SO others for years and then to go through immigration and has to deal with Kingston...i tell you if this dont strengthen ones marriage then i tell you the truth i dont know what will.

To all of us let us stay positive and stay focus....The Lord God Almighty did not bring us this far to leave us!

That's all you can do right now. I feel it for my friends that have been waiting months (especially) the ones out of CSC who are CR/1s. My girlfriend got so stressed over this process that she started to have early labor pains. She's only 7 months pregnant. She was hoping to have her hubby her by now. Keep the faith.

yeah this is a bit ridiculous!! What I noticed is that KNG only schedules K1, K3, CR1 visas on Tuesdays!!! How stupid. So basically in all of 20 working days a month we have a 4 day window to get a date! What the heck are they doing on all the other 16 days of the rass week!!

Yeah...you see how fast India's consulates are giving out interview dates...its like only 6 days after NVC completion...unbelievable...I see as also on the travel rate for each country...India is a country that I think does not have that much of a tourist, working visa applicants...where like Jamaica everybody is trying to get out of there so they trying to get any visa they can get...I love JA but its really not a place to be if you have no money or no job...my hubby loves Jamaica but there is no opportunity for him out there and he can't wait to leave but we also plan to move back there once we retire because its a beautiful and stress free country...once you have money...

I feel for you all, I can only imagine your frustration.

JGay, I would disagree with you about India though - The number of visas that come out of India is astounding - one of the largest users of H1B visas in the US is an Indian company, Wipro -

However, it makes no sense how organized other consulates are - you would think they would all set up a similar protocol / implement the same technology, etc...

It sure doesnt make sense. have you checked out Indias embassy page?! You can see all IV interview appointments by type. It lists your NVC case number right there on the website. Is KNG understaffed or what. India is by far a larger country compared to Jamaica. jamaica is the size of my county for Christs sake!! Why the heck does it take them so long to just put a stupid interview date in the book? Even if the date said September!! At least you know that someone over there is scheduling. This is absoulutely ridiculous. If the April ladies dont get a date in July they will be going on 4 months waiting for a date! Thats un heard of.

Sus;

I agree with you 100% I deal with it everyday. I was also told that USCIS is trying to push out alot of the H'visas.

Lita;

I love your vibes. I don't understand it either. It hurts me to see my friends them so upset especially the ones that are pregnant and want their hubby by their side when they give birth.
