Congrats Aj1! Hello, everyone. Well, Dh has decided to not just invite one brother but in fact 2 brothers and a sister. You know how you're an only child and realized a couple years ago that you think of everyone as an only child and then accidentally fall in love with someone who is youngest of 11 and have this sinking feeling you are never going to be alone again? ummm.... yeah.

Today he asked me what we are going to do with the cats when they visit. I said nothing, they live here. he said he wasn't sure his family woud like that. I think it's completely unreasonable to expect to move the cats out. He just thinks I can give them to a friend for a week or two. WTH? Who will just take 3 cats for a week or2??

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

 you forgot me.

I feel like an alien 'cause I HATE my swiffer enough to have gone and bought an old fashioned mop and now I do it that way with nice hot water and mr. clean. When I used the swiffer on my kitchen floor, which is linoleum (sp?) it would leave a disgusting sticky residue and my feet would make a sound when I walked on the floor with barefeet. Now it's nice and dry and sparkling.

I do, however, love it for the hardwood floors.

I need coffee if I'm going to make it to 7pm tonight. Hubby was up ALL night long reading in bed and I couldn't sleep. I think it was because the light was on but he swears I cork off every single night while he's reading with the light on and it never bothers me so I dunno.

Bridget, get one of those eye masks (a dark one, the light colored satin ones are useless) and invest in earplugs. thats what i do to deal with my husbands tv before bed habit.

Amal that story about the diamond is awesome! I always dream of finding buried treasure like that!

Tammy, I'll get the ring fixed at a jewler it will just be some time till I get the money for it. In the meantime I'm going to look at titanium bands with tension.

Hi Jackie!

Hey Bridget maybe I love my swiffer cuz I have hardwood floors!

Alhamdulillah I want to go see that movie but I'll wait till it's at the dollar theater.

Lucky Nagi got mentioned twice by Amal but I got mentioned first! Nah nah!

Hi Julianna-about the cats MENA is funny about that because they don't keep cats and dogs like we do here. Interesting experience you're bringing up though. Gives me food for thought.

Hi chaishai!

I spent about a half an hour last week trying to figure out how to open the battery compartment in my Swiffer because the sprayer wouldn't work, so I figured the batteries needed replacing. I just couldn't figure it out. In fact, I couldn't even see where the batteries could possibly be in the stupid thing. I finally gave up and was putting the thing back in the closet when I noticed the battery compartment on the closet floor. No wonder it wasn't working!:blush:

Hey all, I hope you are doing well. My grandmother passed away last night so I have been a little torn today. We will miss her deeply but are so blessed that we had her in our lives as long as we did and that God took her before she suffered any more than she did. Take care everybody!

Ok, so yesterday my boss called me in his office for a closed door meeting. I cried.

Today, the HR lady called me in her office for a closed door meeting. I cried again. They waited 6 months for me to pull a commission check,,,,and are now going to deduct money from me for a mistake I made 3 months ago :| I can handle being reprimanded for my mistakes, I kinda blew off him mentioning my 'weight' yesterday, but when they mess with my money, I have questions if I am in the right place.

My choices are .....use my day off tommorrow to look for another job. Or sit here and be miserable. I have 14 years experience and MANY companies would be happy to hire me. I have 2 weeks paid vacation and was going to visit Ibrahim in October. If I change jobs, I can't do that. grrrrr

I hate these big girl decisions. I'm confused enough coming off the Lexapro.

Well I hope you are all having a good day.

Jackie

Amal, I might have to find a flooring company in Houston ;) or Missouri :) and rent your house.
