Rep. Kucinich introduces Bush impeachment resolution

Quite pointless to introduce an impeachment resolution on a President who has less than 1/4 of a term remaining prior to "father time's automatic impleachment" (2-term limitation).

No I don't think it is pointless at all. Not when you are talking a declaration of war and the spent blood of over 4000 service men and women.

The only way we might ever get to the bottom of this (see my post above where the Republican Vice Chairman of this committee refutes its findings) would be through impeachment hearings.

That needs to be acknowledged by our government, even if there are no consequences to the President or any of his cabinet over it, an impeachment hearing would bring closure to the allegations and those who dismiss it as nonsense. The truth shall set us free.

Why is this committe just now looking into this? Obviously someone should have been investigating it when it was happening! Why didnt they? Cuz the ppl that are now biotchin and makin a big deal about it were all for it. So it all boils down to being for it untill thay are against it. Fingers wet and checking wind direction. as usual

I think there is a case to answer - but its one that will never get a full public airing.

If you notice Bush doesn't really get my airtime these days - that's probably mostly due to the election, but I do wonder whether the media has finally come to the conclusion that W has nothing useful to say (as evidenced by that "I have no idea about $4 gasoline") and that he's become generally irrelevant to everything.
