If the official John McCain for President website featured an anti-Semitic article about the Jewish lobby, would media report it?

Probably so much so that the Republican presidential nominee would be forced to issue an explanation and an apology.

Well, on Saturday evening, a person representing Socialists for Obama published an article (link no longer operable) at Barack Obama's official campaign website with the disgraceful headline "How The Jewish Lobby Works" (disgusting content after the jump, h/t's to Larwyn, American Thinker, Doug Ross, and Israel Matzav):

NO LOBBY IS FEARED MORE or catered to by politicians than the Jewish Lobby. If a politician does not play ball with the Jewish Lobby, he will not get elected, or re-elected, and he will either be smeared or ignored by the Jewish-owned major media.

All Jewish lobbies and organizations are interconnected and there are hundreds upon hundreds of them. The leaders of the numerous Jewish Lobby Groups go to the same synagogues, country clubs, and share the same Jewish investment bankers. And this inter-connectedness extends to the Jews who run the Federal Reserve Bank, US Homeland Security, and the US State Department.

In other words, “Jews stick together.” Americans must know how extremely powerful the Jewish Lobby is and how it operates to undermine America’s interests both at home and abroad. At home - by corrupting America’s political system, and abroad - by dictating American Foreign Policy against America’s best interests.

It appears from the dead link that this piece has finally been removed. However, one has to wonder whether the Obama-loving media will pay any attention to this whatsoever, of if this will be another "gaffe" that will be totally ignored for the junior senator from Illinois' benefit.

Sounds like the folks moderating his site were little behind on the housekeeping.

Surely this isn't anything that could reasonably be construed as illustrating Obama's beliefs or those of his campaign.

First, Obama didn't hang the Cuban flag with the super-imposed face of

Che Guevara in his Houston HQ’s... he had no idea it was there.

Then the church... Obama has been associated with the church for 20+ years,

yet he wasn't aware of its anti-American, racially polarizing, anti-Semitic sermons

until now. (Can you imagine 20 years of listening to this stuff, week after week,

if you totally disagreed with it?)

Dog, the phrase "drinking the Kool-aid" has far more to do with fanatical left-wingers like Jim Jones than the Republican Party. Your buddy Obama would have done well at Jonestown. People's Temple or Trinity United? There are a lot of parallels.
