I posted this in the K1 visa forum but thought I might get more advice here. . .

My fiancee and I applied for his social security card exactly 2 months ago. He still hasn't rec'd it. We went by the office and they said that we might have some problems with his SSN. The lady said that it was still pending and we needed to contact immigration. Does any one have any clues as to what we need to do. We are freaking out. Our state needs a SSN in order to get a marriage license and we have to get married by July 7th.

Go to a nearby state and get married there or fly to Vegas - no ssn needed for marriage there (they even used to have drive-thru marriage chapels). Have Fun.

Feb 17 AOS interview in Denver. Biometrics also done today! (Interviewing officer ordered them.)

March 17 Refiled using new I-751 form

April 16 Biometrics done

July 10 Green card production ordered

Jan 20 filed N400

Feb 04 NOA date

Feb 24 Biometrics

May 5 Interview - Centennial (Denver, Colorado) Passed

June 10 Oath Ceremony - Teikyo Loretto Heights, Denver, Colorado

July 7 Received Passport in 3 weeks

Shredded all immigration papers Have scanned images
