Seems like whoever recieved intervew letter shows USCIS is trying to have interview on Dec-10 for most of ppl

Hmmm...i think you're the third or fourth one who will also have their interview on the 10th of december. I wonder about that too... :unsure:

Hi jelli congrats for the transfer of your husband's aos. Yea i haven't hear anything from those who got transferred except for the 5 to 6 people on the top of our list. Probably this month there will be some news for you guys who got transferred. Good luck and blessings :thumbs::star:

Good news...THE LETTER came in the mail today...Interview scheduled for December 4 @12:30 pm in Mount Laurel, NJ...time to start gathering info...I'm so Happy that this is the final step, yet very nervous about the interview...THANK YOU GOD for bringing me this far...

congrats to all the interview letters recieved!

I am so frustrated here. We have not had any updates, touches, transfers, or interview letters. I figured it was because the system was not updating our case information. so, i decided to call USCIS to see if they had any other news for me. The lady that answered the phone was less than pleasant and took me for a moron. I finally said "so you are using the same database that I am to look up the case information." after a little bit of a struggle, she admitted that they very same database we use on uscis.gov to look up the case status....so it does me absolutely no good! :dance:

i just want to have a clue about where our case is. I know people wait for years, but this is infurating. So...i asked her if the infopass people would have more info. she said they do, but wasn't sure they would be willing to share. So, i made an infopass appointment to get an update. Just remember, the last time i talked to the uscis people they confirmed that my AP was wrong and i would have to re-apply (not true..after an infopass appointment we found out it was correct after all!)

AOS Timeline:

7/928 2008 - Mailed packet (I-130, I-485 & I-765)

7/31 2008 - Packet arrives at the Chicago lockbox

8/07 2008 - Checks cashed

8/08 2008 - NOA Received (I-130 & I-485)

8/08 2008 - Application Rejection Letter received for I-765 (Outdated form that expires 08/31/08!!!)

8/11 2008 - Biometrics Notification for August 28th

8/14 2008 - New I-765 received by V. Bustamente

8/18 2008 - Tried a walk-in Biometrics but office closed(!!)

8/19 2008 - CRIS email. RFE #1

8/23 2008 - RFE Letter. Birth Certificate (wth?!?)

9/09 2008 - NOA for I-765 received

9/12 2008 - EAD Biometrics notice for 9/29

9/16 2008 - CRIS email. RFE received on 9/11 and case resumed.

9/26 2008 - EAD Biometrics completed and touched online.

11/07 2008 - EAD Card production ordered.

11/08 2008 - Interview Notice for December 09th.

11/20 2008 - EAD arrived in mailbox and work resumed.

12/09 2008 - Interview. AOS approved and card production ordered.

12/10 2008 - AOS Touched.

12/12 2008 - AOS Touched again.

12/15 2008 - AOS Touched a third time (which usually means the card is in the mail! Hurray!)

My wife got her Green card approved today during the interview. They said 4-6 weeks to receive it.

today the card showed up in the mail. My wife was so excited.

Wish everyone all the luck.

Just for the record our online status never changed and never received one email with any progress. Approved with zero touches according to online. The whole touch thing may be overrated.

I just came back from my interview in Chicago.

They didn'ttell us if we are approved or not. The officer said he never tells you the result and we would have to wait until we get mail.

He said he thinks there is no problem and he removed my I-94 and told me I have to inform them if I move and that I would get the conditional greencard and that I have to apply for removal 90 days before gc expires. It sounds like we are approved but I don't wanna be too excited before I get the mail. :wacko:

Surprise!!! Surprise!!!! I reached home and found a letter in my mailbox, saying to appear for interview at Mount Laurel NJ on December 1 2008. Lucky me, i m travelling back home this weekend and arriving back on Nov 29th, so i would just make it. BTW the receipt date of my case was August 3rd and im adjusting from H1. So it would be exactly 4 months. :dance::dance::dance::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Ok I think I have everything needed for the interview...Just have to put together an album...(disadvantage of having a digital camera LOL all my pics are on the PC)...I'm also asking our Pastor to write a letter for us and hmmm going tomorrow to be added to another bank account (i'm already on 1 but thought hey what the heck 2 can't hurt) and also to be added to his credit card...I'm beneficiary of his life insurance already so that's a plus...I"m on the electric & heating bill (trying to see if i can be added to verizon)...stuipd me didn't photo copy the package b4 mailing it out, I do have a copy of all supporting info that was sent and the completed applications (just not signed and dated...is this ok)

other than that I think we're good to go...a little nervous but I blame USCIS for that hahaha...Good Luck to all those who got interview date, EAD's and AP's those that are still waiting keep checking your mailboxes it's coming any day now...

Oh fingers crossed that I'll pas written DMV test tomorrow also... ;):dance::wub:
