I am with all of you guys. I have not recieved a touch on 485 since Aug 8, which is when we did biometrics. it drives me crazy to not know what is going on. I just want this process to be over with.

03/24/08 K1 visa approved, Santo Domingo

06/28/08 Married

07/07/08 AOS mailed to Chicago Lockbox

07/11/08 Recieved NOA1's for I-485, I-765, and I-131

07/26/08 NOA1 for biometric on 08/14/08

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

Just came from social security office...They gave me a letter saying that my info with DHS isn't available yet (they have to verify the EAD) and that the actual card should come in the mail shortly...the letter also states that I can start working until I get the card in the mail (because of the EAD)....hope to hear good news this week from everyone :jest:

Finally we have some good news.I-485 transfered to California Serv.Centr. 10/17/2008,but nothing yet about A.P and E.A.D.Good luck everybody!

Hi mellusine and Jelli I can do it too..im just mostly studying anyways. :blush: Mellusin im here at orange county area, neighbor of LA county, my local office is here at santa ana . But anyways, I don't have any rfe, transfer letter to either CSC or local office, but either way im fine on which outcome. More good news july filers..for AOS this time i hope :dance:

RICHO, WE ARE THE SAME I NEVER HAVE A TRANSFER OR TOUCH SINCE MY BIOMETRIC THE LAST UPDATE WAS JULY 15. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON OR WHAT IS WRONG. I HAVE MY EAD AND I'M ALREADY WORKING. I'M AT SAN FRANCISCO. IS THERE ANYONE HERE FROM SAN FRANCISCO?

ITS HARD THAT I DON'T HERE ANYTHING FROM THEM. DO YOU THINK GUYZ, I WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BE TRANSFERRED? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Hi Jackielibera - our local office is in San Francisco. We haven't had a touch on my hubby's I-485 since 8/7/08. Just be prepared for an interview, in case you don't get transferred. We're doing the same - collecting lots of evidence as possible. I'm just happy that my husband received his EAD and AP....still job-hunting but at least he's legally able to work now. If we get transferred to CSC then it's great but if not, I'm not gonna sweat it....

Anyone waiting for EAD and AP for over 90days? I could not do service request. The guy says they are now asking everyone to wait for another 47days. Should I try to call again and try to do service request?

Why don't you make an infopass at your local office? You can do it online schedule an infopass and print it :thumbs: This is their site

https://infopass.uscis.gov/infopass.php enter your zip code i believe your local office is at santa ana same as mine. Ive been there pm me if you need info on how to get there. Good luck to you

Congrats to everyone. I got my SS card in mail today, also my first paycheck from work this morning :dance: Good thing is my employer knew I could get payed without SSN so I didn't have any problems. Good luck to you all looking for a job!

I just made infopass appointment. I do not think it will help, but better than not doing anything.

I called up USCIS and got a different person. She said the same thing and now they are processing April 23rd application and I am within normal processing time. So I just gave up calling them.

After infopass, I will try to contact ombudsman if I do not get anything.
