Yep it is. I just weasle it in my review schedule for my nursing exam this 28 but I just took the written test for driving and see if I pass and I did! With just 1 day and 2nights of reading it! So everybody can do it too. Im kinda nervous bout the behind the wheel though :wacko::blink:

nah, the behind the wheel is the easy part. I mean, assuming you already are a driver. Its a breeze, dont worry about it.

EAD touched again today? not sure why...It says it was mailed on October 16...

HI keweul mine was touched today too. It was sent yesterday too thats for my second ead. My first one was touch too after it was sent. I think it is normal. :blush:

EXACTLY! :wacko: Its same person, same alien number. Maybe its processed by two different person. But still can't theysee it on the system. Anyways i just hope it won't messed up my AOS :blink:

How do you know when your name check has been done & cleared by FBI? Is it when you receive notice for interview (if you need one) or when card production ordered?

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

Just an update. I applied for a name change on my social security number. I was told they would have to send the request to immigration to verify my immigration status as it wasn't showing up yet and to expect the new card within 4 weeks. Last time I was told this information (when originally applied for name change) they denied it because social security had put my wrong date of birth resulting in a delay and then the request was within the 14 day expiration of the I-94. So hopefully this time will be successful.
