EAD touched again today...they need to stop smudging it and just send it to me already LOL...now the original date on the notice changed to "On October 14..." original was Oct 8

I sent a couple of email last week to some company in my industry...

Result :

After 2 hours i got someone who like my work (and if new opening she will call)

After 4 days (including a 3 day week end) : A company i didn't directly sent my work ask if i would be interested to go on interview

After 5 days : There is openings in a big company close by and i have another email from someone i sent my work to asking if i am indeed in LA

It sounds promising....

Just need to get a kickass income soon now !

Hi everyone just got my EAd card, everything is correct the first day the card was ordered is the approval date. I have another ead card on the way hope this won't messed up my paperwork Don't they realized that they approved two ead for one person? or with same alien number? even if there's two different receipt right? Anyways Im happy that I have my work permit now. Will apply for SSN tomorrow. Good luck to all of us. Hopefully AOS will follow up soon

I have my first interview tomorrow !! (already !) in a big company (wich would look nice on my resume)

Small project until the end of November wich might be extend later on depending on the dvlpmt of the project.

I am SO freaking out !!!

hehe hi keweul my NCLEX-RN exam will be on the 28th wish me luck. But I already have interview scheduled for UCLA hospital next month and a few more hospitals here in OC. Will cram up everything this month, driver's license test etc and my licensure exam oh gawd. non ending exam. Just got back from the SSAoffice and they give me a piece of paper saying that they can't issue me a SSN at this time because the DHS was unable to verify the immigration document that I submitted. Is this how it is with everyone too? Ty

Did you ask that what the hell does that mean?

I assume you brought your EAD card, that's proof of your immigration status. What else do they want? I would go back there and ask for a manager. These government employees seem to be retarded.

yes its EAD card that I brought with me. I think they will need to verify it yet with DHS maybe DHS haven't updated it yet. But I was able to apply for driver's license and state id without the SSN. Johhnie J from august filers said that I can go back after 2 business days to ask for a certification of SSN, its okI won't be applying soon anyways. ANd the lady put in my paper 6 weeks. So is that the standard procedure?

Yes it is FULL! I need extra plate hehe. Still need to have certifications/test BLS, ACLS, PALS, english test, etc blah blah blah kind of an OC person I want everything to be organized and complete .. sorry talked too much Hope everything will work out well with all of us in God's will and time. im just wondering if ur applying for a job,what number will they verify,i mean the alien number or the EAD card number...one job that i am applying was they say they will verify first then they said they cannot verify it..i dont have any idea about that...any suggestions and idea?thanks alot.

our AOS case was updated again shows that they have received it at the other office in the CSC and resumed processing and reviewing the case Hope it's not too long now. still can't look up the EAD hope thats not a problem! Do you think they forgot that we applied for that as well and we never get it? ahhhh worrying again and i probably shouldn't be!
