When we filed my wife's AOS and I-130 packets last week 7/17/08, I did not include an employment letter fro me (petitioner) but included 7 most recent paystubs plus recent year benefits print out....

Do you think I should have included an employment letter? or they will send me RFE letter?

Well my story is that my husband (us citizen) filed for me (receipt notice date March 3 2008) the I 130...No one told me that I had to file AOS at the same time so I sent all those forms & fees in this month they received it July 17 (mailed it july 16)....(Check my timeline)...so I've been reading ppl's posts here and i feel quite positive about the entire process despite USCIS's delays in processing certain cases....I've been going through this proces for 12yrs now and it's finally coming to an end....Long story but my mother had initially filed for me (she was a LPR, i was under 21 at the time)...met my hubby 7yrs ago got married in 2005...found out after I got married that my case was pretty much nul & void because the marriage changed my status so had to do it all over....but GOD IS GOOD and he's made a way...

To everyone else, just a word of encouragement: no matter how hopeless this process might seem, try to hold on and have faith that good will come of the whole thing...It has to end one day SOON....

Wow, I'm in shock...NOA for Biometrics received today, date on the NOA is only THREE business days after the date on the NOA1's for the AOS & EAD! That means from the NOA1 date to the Biometrics date is only 2 1/2 weeks! After the gruelling process of the I-130/I-129F, I can't believe this is moving so quickly...maybe I shouldn't speak so soon! We are in Ventura, CA & I doubt it if the Oxnard Local Office is that busy...maybe that's why it's so soon. I don't care how long the AOS takes, it's the EAD that I'm excited about! I see all these jobs online (and probably only tormenting myself job searching) and I can't wait to apply! The difference between salaries from what I was getting paid at my old job and what they pay here, is about 2 1/2x more here...just so much opportunity...Good luck to everyone!!

Hello there !

I am starting already a thread for the people who know they will file in July

we will marry the 20th of June and the time to get the marriage certificate and all papers ready, we will most probably send it all very early July.

Received my biometrics appointment notice today for Aug 12th. Three days after receiving NOA1s.
