Today, no update again. I am so mad at USCIS. I have no idea why it takes so long.

06/19/2008 POE at LAX with K1 visa

06/28/2008 Married my husband

07/03/2008 Update my social security card

07/19/2008 AOS, EAD, AP mailed to Chicago lock box

07/21/2008 AOS, EAD, AP were received

07/28/2008 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

08/04/2008 Biometric appointment letter arrived

08/15/2008 Biometric at Santa Ana office

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

10/22/2008 Was able to do service request

10/23/2008 EAD was approved

10/24/2008 AOS interview letter arrived

11/26/2008 Renew my State ID

12/10/2008 AOS interview approved right away

Yes I got those emails too. Received the EAD the day after I got the approval notice sent email. So your EAD should be in the post very soon.

Darren's EAD was updated with the same info ("card production ordered" AND "approval notice sent") a total of 4 times, but the actual date on the card when it arrived was the first date.

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Same here....my husband's EAD was updated 3x but the date on the card states the first one.

AOS Timeline:

7/30/08: Sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

7/31/08: Received by USCIS

8/06/08: Check cashed

8/07/08: Rec'd NOA for I-485 AOS

8/07/08: AOS, EAD, & AP - Touched

8/08/08: Rec'd NOAs for EAD & AP

8/12/08: Rec'd Biometrics appt letter

8/21/08: Biometrics

9/29/08: EAD & AP - approved!!

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

Sigh - RFE was received in late July and I STILL don't have the paperwork I need (Tax return) b/c the CPA and his mom are doing gosh knows what. I have literally - less than 20 days until the application is expired or thrown away. I tried calling the 1-800 number on the RFE, but it keeps on giving me the stupid automated system. I can't seem to talk to anyone on the phone to request for them to extend the due date. If anyone can help me with this, I would really appreciate it. I'm freaking out here.

Go find another accountant. There's a H&R Block in every city. It takes 20-60 minutes to do a return, I do 20 a year, so why are they dragging their feet? :blink::wacko:

It's more my mother-in-law who's really dropping the ball here. I *guess* the CPA is doing their job, just slowly. :s

Thanks but Huh? After so many things? I dont have any RFE and hoping that I wont have any but if ever I do ill just go thru with the process of completing thats all I can do anyways:wacko: :blink:

Sorry to hear that kittycat . But there are still a few that are waiting for at least their EAD approval. With regards to AOS, imwaiting too im not transferred or havent received any RFE...Just hang in there. IF passed 90 days you still don't have your EAD make an infopass and request to follow it up. Good luck to all of us

I know its disappointing. But look at the brighter side its 10 more days to go and you can call cust service or make an infopass to have a service request for your EAD...
