i finally went and see a doc. yesterday and what a pain !

because my varicella was just verbal they insisted to give me the shot... and because i saw a doctor as itself.... he wanted to do the whole freakin thing....

i was soo angry and believe me EVERYONE knew how angry i was ! (damn.. i waited almost a month to have a doctor place where they would apparently just fill up the vaccination sheet of the I693).. for nothing !.... i was VERY angry.

so basically i got a varicella shot, a tb skin test and all the blood work all over again ! hiv etc....

and with that of course... the need to wait another week for the results etc....

i am so freakin angry....

Oh, Melusine, I'm so sorry. What a pain. So you have to wait an additional week before filing for AOS? That just really sucks. :(

Was this in NYC? Did they originally tell you that they would just fill out the vaccination section? Where did you go? What did it cost?

I have my 3 receipt numbers for my AOS, AP, and EAD, but none of them are pulling up anything on the USCIS website. It keeps telling me

" * Case Status Retrieval Failed

* This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center."

The number for each looks like this: ABC -11-222-33333

So I am entering it ABC1122233333 as it instructs us not to enter the dashes.

Why isn't it showing up? Shouldn't it at least show that I got my NOA1?

I want to stalk my case online in case something happens to my biometrics notice.

Mine is the same, it usually takes a bit of time before they have that entered...someone doing data entry is behind. Not to worry...my I-129F AND I-130 petitions on there STILL say pending! sheesh! I check at least twice a day...good luck to you!

Wait like a week after receiving NOA to check online. I didnt bother checking until I got my ASC for my biometrics, that takes about 2 weeks after NOA. I was looking forward to getting biometrics appointment than the status of my case being online. Good luck.

it was in los angeles

175$ for the whole thing including varicella shot (at least it was not as bad as some others)

the price was originally 99$ to see the doctor...

and really it is a pain because the place is close to my sweety work (1 to 2hrs of driving in traffic) to get there....

the first time he had a day off coz had to be checked for allergies

the second time (read tb result) we went there from his work but it was like... i waited in the car for a couple of hours during the time he was working (at least i had a couple of things to do)

and the third time to actually go pickup the paper and sign (probably next week) (and another all day waiting in the car.. oohh joy)

anyway, i got my picture done today (and it don't look so good on it) :( (at least my driving license is cool)

Can't wait to fill it all up and send it !

Question: If the doctor gave my fiance the vaccination supplement thingy ( vaccination documentation worksheet) from his k-1 medical exam, is that good enough to send with AoS?

So far, we got Jeremy's SSN, got married & have the marriage certificate(s) copies, put him on the bank accounts, found out we can get the driver's license for him after he's been on a utility bill for at least 30 days...have all their other requirements, filled out AoS paperwork except the affidavit of support. I'm updating my employment letter, got his 6 passport pics.

I can't think of anything else at the momemt that we need to get. We should be ready to send the AoS papers out this week.
