The customer rep advised us to schedule an InfoPass to know what's really happening. That's what we did. We scheduled an InfoPass for Friday and we'll see what's going to happen next. I have read timelines of other VJ members who never got any touches or updates at all from USCIS after their biometrics and they just got their EAD/GC card in the mail after two to three months. :thumbs: That's good news. However, I just want to make sure that I'm not waiting for nothing at all. Probably the InfoPass would give us some answers.

i actually thought of scheduling an infopass, but the uscis office is an hour drive, and it would mean the hubby will miss work to drive me there. i guess i will just wait. should nothing happen by november, then i'll probably raise hell! just kidding! he he he

i finally got an email that says, "we ordered production of your new (ead) card."

so so so happy... the end of boredom is at hand.... he he he.... assuming i'll actually get a job in this tough market.... :)

for the time being, the thought that i can finally send out my resume is making me smile.... big time...

4/29/13 - Case Complete!

5/10/13 - Interview notice emailed.

I'm starting to get nervous here. We have our AP and EAD thankfully, but NOTHING on AOS. Not a transfer, not a touch, no RFE (knock on wood)....nothing. I'm beginning to wonder where it is. unfortunately, whenever i have called all they says its its withing processing timelines and nothing else. Anybody have any advise?? :unsure:

07/07/08 AOS mailed to Chicago Lockbox

07/11/08 Recieved NOA1's for I-485, I-765, and I-131

07/26/08 NOA1 for biometric on 08/14/08

08/06/08 Walk in Biometrics completed

08/07/08 Case online and touched

09/04/08 Approval notices for EAD and AP

09/09/08 AP recieved in mail

09/20/08 EAD recieved in mail

01/14/09 Interview notice recieved

02/10/09 Interview APPROVED

02/14/09 Welcome notice received

02/21/09 Green Card Received!!!!!

I was bored when i got into work and decided to check the status of my husband's EAD (which was not viewable in the past) and it just popped up saying that production has been ordered. I am so excited. How long does it take usually for someone to get it...they wrote 30 days but I have read peoples timelines that states approx. 10 days?

08/04/08 - Check cashed

08/04/08 - Biometrics Letter rcd

08/27/08 - AOS touched - case now pending at CSC

9/23/08 - AOS touched

9/29/08 - EAD card production ordered

23/01/2008: New Medical done, WHERE THE @#$%! IS IT, DID THE MAILMAN LOSE IT?! (It arrived 30 min after I left for MTL, 1 week overdue. KISS MY LEFT FOOT, AFTER IT'S BEEN WEDGED UP YOUR HINEY AND LOST IT'S STILETTO, CANADA POST!)

14/02/2008: VISA IN HAND!!

18/05/2008: POE - Harassed by ignorant and incompetent Customs Official who grilled me until I answered that the reason why I broke up w/ my Ex was not to date my USC but b/c he was "impotent from a porn addiction". He also insulted my husband's motives for talking to me, dismissed our 2 years together as "not enough to get married", and otherwise trotted out the Spanish Inquisition.
