Congrats everyone!! Just some info.. I got the email from CRIS about EAD card production ordered on Sept 17th but yet on the card it says that it's valid from Sept 12th...I received it in the mail on Sept 22nd. Good luck to those waiting for their EAD & AOS!!

BTW...has anyone else had touches on their EAD AFTER the fact?? Thanks!

Oct 14, 2008---EAD1 CARD ARRIVES! Approval date is Oct. 2, 2008

Dec 10, 2008---INTERVIEW DAY! APPROVED!!!

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

I got touch today for EAD/AP...

i guess it's a touch like they are sending it or something....

It's my first touch since the start of the k1 process back in october 07!!! lol

Hi all,

I got my interiew some days ago for November 3rd. :shocked:

I thought I would get the EAD first? I have no touches since Biometrics. :huh:

Did you see any touches online before you got the interview letter?

I got my EAD but no touches online yet, so I'm wondering if I should expect the interview letter in the mail without expecting to see a touch online first...

Any updates? It seems that not many EAD cases are not approved this week. What's going on?

Finally I am able to see my I-485 status online after checking my status every five mins for the past month :whistle: . Funny thing is I just before i tried this evening I said to myself " THAT IS IT, IF YOU ARE NOT THERE THIS TIME I AM NOT GOING TO TRY AGAIN'' Funny thing is I don't know whether I really meant that. Now thats the good part. Bad part is a RFE letter was sent mailed out to me today :angry: . Just what I needed. Did any of you get a RFE for I-485 and what was it for? :unsure:

Hi JeffandDonna. Sorry to hear about your RFE. Could you tell us all what kind of information they asked you for?

got the RFFE letter in the mail today. My husband needs to submit 6 months pay stubs, a letter of employment containing wages and salary earned, no. of hours of work etc.

Thanks for your response JeffandDonna -- good luck, I hope the RFE doesn't delay your process much!

Question for everybody else: did you all submit paystubs with your AOS application? I know I didn't... we enclosed my husband's 2008 and 2007 tax forms... should I expect an RFE asking us for paystubs?

Yes. I got the CRIS email (and online touch) saying my card was ordered on 9/5. Then I got EXACTLY THE SAME CRIS email, and another touch on 9/9. I ended up getting the card on 9/15. No other touches online on this application since 9/9.

7/20/08 - AOS/EAD/AP sent to Chicago Lockbox

11/18/08 - AOS approved!!!

11/25/08 - Received welcome letter...and Green Card!!!

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

We applied late July so I'm not expecting my husband's EAD to come anytime soon....but you never know! I'm hoping it comes sooner than later though cuz he is frustrated & bored, big time.

Yep, we were touched the day after it was approved. Could mean they sent you the card.
