Hello fellow July filers! Just a quick note to let you know that I just did my Biometrics. It went all smoothly. However, I checked the case online and it's still not sowing up. I'm getting antsy since I got my MSC numbers almost a month ago and there's nothing showing up. :crying: I want to see some progress!

Good luck to us all.

-N

I know how you feel. My case did show up online one day after NOA, but not a single move since. I had biometrics a week ago, and still nothing.

BTW, if anyone's looking for work, even with a temp work auth stamp, check into the temp employment agencies. I worked for 2 different one's when I was between gov't term positions. They are great and something is better than nothing! They also have permanent placement positions so if you are qualified/have the personality to fit into a company, you can try the job out and it may get offered to you! It is a smart step where the economy is hurting...also, there's TONS of jobs on craigslist.com as advertising is expensive here. Good luck!!

Man I wish we can grease the wheels here. Would sending the reviewers cases of booze help...or would they just get drunk, pass out and drool over my husband's case file?

I just called up USCIS about a case status online problem. I came here with K1 visa. But, during the entire process of my K1visa, I got nothing from USCIS and still my case status of K1 says pending. Well, I got my K1 visa and married my husband anyways. The thing is that why don't they update everyone's case status online equally? I know many folks who never got even touched and got approved.

Now, I applied for AOS and EAD and I am really worried that the same thing might happen again. Never updates or no notification or something like that. The lady I talked first was so nice and she transferred me to her supervisor. Oh god, this supervisor who seemed to be IO was insanely rude. She said, we never talked about previous case anymore. Well, we have trouble on website. Probably EAD will take 4 months now.

I cannot believe that! Because of their messed up system, a lot of people cannot even track their cases online. I had experienced that before for my K1 and now it might happen again?????

I am soo shocked. She just said EAD takes 4 months. well, it should be approved within 90days! Do your job!

7/19 AOS package has been mailed

7/21 AOS package was arrived in Chicogo.

7/28 NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP

Well I am still waiting for my EAD, nothing has been updated since late May so I am in limbo as to what is going on with it. I guess what she told you is happening, - sorry to say.

For General Info most of the USCIS employees are being shifted to handle Citizenship N-400 cases as election day gets closer.

Don't let the choices chose you, chose the choices that you want.

y do u have a non US address and phone number ??

Maybe what they meant was non us address and non us phone number for previous employer? For choices when filling out applications..i guess

That's exactly what it is...makes it look like he's never held a job...

I do not think they will delay your case unless there is something wrong with your case.

Well, I think that those who are out of case processing dates should contact local congressmen or women.

It works so well. My husband did contact a local congressman, and his office was so helpful.
