so glad today..just checked my case online,i was surprised it was transferred alreadu..i never thought of checking my case because my biometrics will be today..i was planning to check after my biometrics done...so happy...thanks god..but still i cannot view my EAD and AP online yet...

I have done my biometrics on 8/2/08 and immediately on 8/5/08 the case was updated online (touched). I have not seen any more updates ever since. Is it normal? How long after biometrics do they work on any of the applications (i.e my I-130, AP, EAD and I-285) I am anxious and nurveous at the same time.

Anyone knows or have any infor they care to share?

Hi nanny when I had my biometrics july 29 I was able to view my case online and was touched the same day. The next day it was touch again, july 30 and not seen any updates ever since. Im anxious too hoping it will be transfered I think it just depends on the person who handles our case and other factors I guess such as name check, completeless of papers etc. Good luck to us and blessings

There's no guarantee either one of you will be transferred to CSC, not all K-1's are. I think the majority have to go to an interview. AOS usually takes about 6 months, more or less. So you guys still have 4-5 months before you should expect anything. It may come sooner, but you really shouldn't "expect" it.

It looks like you are not a K-1, so you will almost certainly NOT be transferred to CSC. You will most likely have to attend an interview at your local office. It seems like K-1's are the ones getting transferred to CSC for approval without an interview.

so all updates will be taking place tonight when i'll get home.

I officialy started to make contact for work at this all week convention and it felt quite good to feel activye in my industry again.

Hi there,

My case is not a K-1. I had a J-1 visa not subject to the 2 year rule. got married to a US citizen and has been married for the last 4 years. I could not file when we got married because my spouse was not a citizen yet, lawyer advised not to file until spouse gets citizenship. well it took 4 years for the name check to be done and finally at the end of june the citizenship was obtained that is how i couod apply, i guess it is never too late...
