Hi keweul. Youknow I wonder about that too. Im patiently waiting for that :innocent: If you would look at the july stats that mellusine did the earliest was like 17 days from date of NOA1 to date of transfer. But as I looked in other people's timeline sometime it can take to more than 30 days to 40 days to get transferred to CSC. I think it depends on the person handling our case, the completeness of our paperworks and of course on how many people were there in line before our papers. LEts keep praying and hoping that there will be good news soon

With tears in my eyes and the biggest anger I am now announcing my first and I hope last RFE... of course, I am guessing for the medical s**t I was telling you guys earlier. For now I only have the e-mail, which doesn't explain anything... so I am waiting for the stupid paper. The RFE is only for the I-485 so I'm pretty sure it's because of the medical... So now what? I just have to do the medical, but then again my vaccination records are at USCIS!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any RFE line in this part of the process I can call?

Our K-3 timeline

- jan. 12 2008 - Wedding

- feb. 11 2008 - sent I-130 to Chicago lockbox

- march 06 2008 - sent I-129F to CSC

- may 06 - APPROVED

- jun 12 - medical and interview passed! Visa in the passport!!!

- jun 24 - entry in US through Chicago

AOS

- jul 16 2008 - AOS + EAD sent to Chicago lockbox

- jul 28 - NOAs for AOS and EAD

- aug 6 - Bio letter

- aug 11 - RFE e-mail (I-864)

- aug 19 - Biometrics done (they scanned my little fingers maybe 20 times because fingerprints were not clear enough :P )

Thank you God! Just a few more steps..

Anyone have any idea how long it normally takes to get a interview notice?

I'm kind of bummed for my wifes application since it was received on JUN 30 and then touched Jul 03 for the Bio appointment. Since then nothing absolutely no touch or messages. 5 weeks now with no processing or changes. She has the opportunity to travel home for business in September and we were hoping the process would be further along.

I've tried to contact USCIS about it but can't manage the phone system to talk to a real person.

Chandler, was the system down or you couldn't figure the extensions out?

If 2nd, once you get into menu, you can always try #3 then #6 as if you are about to file for AOS. When you get an agent, they will ask you the status of your case and answer your questions (well, I HOPE). Good luck

Should I be worried/concerned?

My husband is here on his K-3 Visa. Since his arrival, we have started our AOS and EAD Journey. I've been looking at other VJ'ers time lines and I've noticed that it seems that within a week or so of their Biometrics Appointment, a lot of people are noting that their case was transfered to CSC.

I keep checking our case online and neither the AOS or EAD has been touched since the 25th (day of the Bio Appt.) Is this something to worry about?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks & good luck.

Sorry everyone, I kind of did this backwards and posted my original comment without reading the other comments first. Can I blame this one on stress?

I now see that a lot of others are asking the same thing so I will try to be patient with the rest of those that have not been transfered yet.

Thanks

I see you are on a K3, I think you will likely will have an interview because majority of the cases transferred to CSC are K1s.

Hey Melusine,

Just noticed in your signature that you have 2013 projected to become a citizen. You can actually apply for it earlier than that, in 2011. When naturalizing through the marriage process, you can do so 3 years from when you AOS was approved. It's people naturalizing from work visas that have to be PRs for 5 years.

;)
