darren, what kind of medical did u have to go through in the US ?

Hi, I haven't had any sort of medical done here in the US. I had my K1 medical only a few months ago in London, and have sent my vaccination supplements with the AOS in. I'm half expecting to get an RFE because I didn't see a civil surgeon and get the I-693 completed, but as many people on VJ didn't do this either and got approved I thought I'd try my luck too to save lugging my babies halfway across the state to the nearest civil surgeon, (I can't believe Cheyenne the state capital doesn't have one according to the USCIS site!)

Yeah i wouldnt worry about the I693 unless theres some medical issues. i sent the shot record from my appt in london, as did many others, and that seems to be fine!

I guess this is my thread...Darren arrives tomorrow, we're having a civil service on Friday (we hope!), and filing for AOS (among other things) on Monday. He's going through JFK, so we hope he will get a temp EAD stamp.

Hey guys...We filed paperwork for AOS everning on the 1 of July..I was tracking ups and unfortunatly ous pacakage is still on transit in Chicago...4 days long weekend.. Well.I hope we will get somenews next week and soon I will join you and together wait for the interview...

I wish everybody luck and speed process...

Oh yeah...and one more thing...We filed the paperwork to Chicago lockbox...and I live in Texas..Question is..where uscis will transfer a case,California or Vermont? Or it depens?

As for the medical thing i am still waiting for an answer.... i think i'll keep on harassing the office about it every day from now on.

Good news while waiting... i received my official marriage certificate + my 5yrs driving license (and the picture on it look cool (cool thing since i'll get stuck with it for 5 yrs)

It's fun to catch back here with some people i saw on other thread, while waiting for the visa, here or there....

I don't know about transferring yet.

:unsure: Ok... I just want to make sure since my medical is scheduled for next Monday.. I would hate having to re-do everything just because there's a new rule and they might not know about it..
