Oh well I read post from people who had this experience some had to send a letter of correction, some had made an infopass appointment at their local office and some didnt do anything at all and still was approved. I guess what i'll do is just to wait on their response since I already had my biometrics done, I just hope that the person who will handle my case will correct my mistake , hoping and praying and will just wait for their response... -_-

Richo... it all depends on the staff from uscis that will take care of your case...they are people just like us (I know that I am stating the obvious...) and you never know what mood will they be in...they might be picky or they might cut you some slack...

I for one I wish to all staff at uscis happy sunny days :D

Good luck!

Today we received NOA's dated 7/30 and the letter with the biometrics appointment for 8/15

in Rapid City ( 4 hours drive )

We are happy that we did not receive any RFE and that we got the appointment so soon

The spreadsheet with everybody's data is wonderful and very helpful. Thanks!!!

Ty the2ofus ^_^ Up to this time I'm still thinking if I will send a letter to MSC and tell them my mistake. I actually prepared one and STILL thinking if I will send my amendment letter for that I-765 questioin 16 ( c) (9) correction OR just wait for their response. ITs just that I can't bear the thought that I knew I made a mistake and I can write to them and tell the correction or just wait and hold my anxiety attack with the "what ifs" Sorry you guys. Just venting  Good luck to us! :innocent:

Yep, i adjust the stats for now :)

I will update everything i see on this thread... (and if i am very bored will seek some missing info from older cases, on other thread.. lol)

The updates are around once a day (sometime more) when i get some time :)

Jeff and Sylvia, you definitely got your bio. appt quite early compare to most of us, that's cool ! :)

I also agree that with the data we have it's too soon to really see the positive and negative impact of the walkin bio appt. and the geek in me is quite curious about it :P

About that walk-in thing for the bio-appt... I don't think I'm gonna do it... I thought about it and maybe it's best if I wait. It's only 2 weeks. We've done things by the book with our K-3 (when everybody was sending I-130 and I-129F in the same package, we sent I-130 and only after NOA1 we sent I-129F) and we were just fine, I had the visa in my hand exactly 5 months after we applied, faster than many others who had taken shortcuts... Still, I don't think those who walked-in might have a problem. The barcode on each Appointment letter will put your biometrics straight into the system.

By the way my case is viewable online fron day 1 and is extremely accurate until now, just as it was with my K-3. Bio letter was sent July 30 and my case was updated right then...

Something that gets on my mind lately is that a lot of people are getting RFEs... I hate RFEs though I never got one and pray to God to not see one in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are like the Boogie man of uscis... :alien:

Our K-3 timeline

- jan. 12 2008 - Wedding

- feb. 11 2008 - sent I-130 to Chicago lockbox

- march 06 2008 - sent I-129F to CSC

- may 06 - APPROVED

- jun 12 - medical and interview passed! Visa in the passport!!!

- jun 24 - entry in US through Chicago

AOS

- jul 16 2008 - AOS + EAD sent to Chicago lockbox

- jul 28 - NOAs for AOS and EAD

- aug 6 - Bio letter

- aug 11 - RFE e-mail (I-864)

- aug 19 - Biometrics done (they scanned my little fingers maybe 20 times because fingerprints were not clear enough :P )

Thank you God! Just a few more steps..

yeah, me too, i petition against RFE ! lol

The only thing i wonder about my applications was if i needed any kind of divorce documents (we were both divorced before our marriage) but if i remember well the divorce documents just applied to a certain category of people. Also, it is just so easy to miss a point with all the instructions.

So, we will see :)

Pffff.... I don't know... Logically, if you reached AOS that means you passed their checking through K-3 or K-1 for a valid marriage. But judging by the complete lack of logic in this entire process, I think it's all up to the officer laying his hands on your case... I doubt there will be problems... And for the record I'm a pessimistic person

Relax, some people waited a month before getting NOA's. It means nothing.

I have a question for you guys....

We received our NOA for I-485 but that was it. Did you get NOA's for all 3 (AOS, EAD, and AP)?? Or did they all come separately? We did file for all 3 at the same time but we only got the NOA for AOS today....nothing for EAD & AP (yet).
