Hey everyone,

we just checked the mail and we have an interview....FINALLY. Feb 10! I feel like the are asking for so much stuff. now its time to round up all of the documents.

For those of you that have already had your interview. Did you bring a translator? i am wondering if we need to, or if I can serve as the translator. thoughts?

sigh I have no idea what for ... I thought we have everything right so now im wondering and worried :S I thought he was so close to being approved and now this, this sucks

Is there anyone else left who filed in July and was transferred to California and hasn't heard a word since? I'm worried because the summary of my case on the USCIS website doesn't even state that it's IN California specifically, or what date they actually received it:

In the login page, it says last updated September 23rd, but honestly it's been so long now and we've had so much to think about, I can't remember if that's when it was transferred or not. It's getting frustrating seeing all these people who filed months after us getting approvals while we're still waiting. I've been living off my savings since I moved here last March because as I said, they either didn't mail my work permit or it got lost in the mail and they refused to replace it. How much longer should I wait before we contact somebody? I really wouldn't know who to call or write to.

We seem to be on the same timeline. My husbands AOS was transferred about the same time and touched around the same days. On Jan. 17th they sent a "Request for Additional Evidence" to us as well. I can't wait to see what they want. Good luck!

We received the same thing too with the same date after an RFE last Sept '08... just when we thought it's just a waiting for the interview schedule...

I'm worried too because my medical was over a year ago in London now. There's no way they could make me do another one because it took them this long to process my case is there?
