Hello everyone,

Happy Holidays to all and congratulations to people who got their GC and interview letters. :thumbs:

My husband got his interview letter too for Feb. 2nd. We're so excited. There was no touches or any emails. So it was a very nice surprise. :dance::dance::dance::star:

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

Happy new year everyone!!!! congrats to those who got their GC and their interview letter..Well as for me my GC is not here yet...starting to get worry :wacko: They sent the approval notice on Dec. 22 and of course maybe due to holidays and the fact that we moveon the 20th all adds up to it being delayed..but im still hoping it will get to me here in my new address.Wish me luck :dead: Anyways Happy holidayseveryone!!! Happy holidays everyone.

We went to our originally scheduled interview appointment, they were having a Xmass party. I guess that was the unforeseen circumstances they mentioned in the cancellation notice we recieved from the NBC. Well according to the majority here, they said we still should show up to our original date. Now I learned that they cancelled it due to their party (tax payer dollar well spent at the work place!!) :thumbs:

We have a new date which is on 1/22/09, I am hoping that we will be done and get the 10 year card since we have been married for more than 4 years now.

I wish everyone a smoth journey obtaining the Green card, and everyone a great year in 2009. Wish all those who are still waiting (including us) to get our GC and close that chapter of our lives. :dance:

Happy new year!!! After i received my greencard last december 22, i went to ss office to have my ss changed without the note "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION" luckily i dont have problem changing it. The guy said i have to wait two weeks and they will just mail it.

To everyone who has still waiting for their greencard especially RICHO, goodluck to you Girl!!! :innocent:

Hi thanks.Yeah it does suck! but what can i do:-( I ask thatand she said you know the generic one WITHIN 45 DAYS lols. Yea its better that i have it in hand soon. So if i havent moved i should have it by last month last year .lols Ill just wait for it :wacko:

Hi everyone. Happy new year!

I passed my AOS interview without any problems and I already got my GC.

I have been working for a little bit over a month now. I cannot wait to change my job.

It is just so hard to get a job right now. Especially those who are immigrants.

07/19/2008 AOS, EAD, AP mailed to Chicago lock box

08/15/2008 Biometric at Santa Ana office

10/21/2008 No update since biometric- contacted a local congressman, the ombudsman

10/22/2008 Was able to do service request

10/23/2008 EAD was approved

10/24/2008 AOS interview letter arrived

11/26/2008 Renew my State ID

12/10/2008 AOS interview approved right away
