Happy holidays everyone!!! :dance::dance::dance: Well we're here at our new place now and today my approval notice was sent as by CRIS email. Last December 17 , I received my Welcome Notice in our Old address good thing im still there..and now its just my husband that received a confirmation letter from USPS. :bonk: And mine was missing and its only for individual forward grrrr. lols. Anyways still hoping and praying that ill receive it here in our new place in a timely manner...Good luck to us.. and happy holidays once again :dance:

Hello everyone... First i want to say thank you so much for all the vj family. I received my GC in the mail today after 12 days of interview. Now my question is, "Do i need to change my ssn since it has a note that said: "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"?

Any help would be very much appreciated... Merry Christmas to all!!!

Congrats to those who have received their GC's or Approvals!!!! My hubby is still waiting for his GC...I do hope it comes soon.

I don't think you have to but you probably should get that removed. You can go down to SS office and fill out an SS-5 form again. My wife and I went and did that yesterday, it's very quick. Bring your greencard and some other form of ID.

Yeah you have to update your status with social security office (show them your greencard) then they'll mail you out a new card without that stuff written on it...

Thank you and congrats to your GC. My GC was sent yesterday but i dont have it yet hopefully tomorrow. Im just hoping that it will reach my new place :blush:

My GC is coming soon and will reach me hopefully lol. My employer called today too and said my fingerprint was cleared and im scheduled for medical tomorrow, hoping to start my first job here next month :dance: HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! :dance::dance:

Hello,

We had our case transferred to CSC in October...in looking at anecdotal evidence, we thought we might've had a chance at being approved in December. I know there isn't anything that sets that in stone, but we saw a lot of people who were approved not only two months after the transfer, but sometimes two months to the day.

So, we're just kind of checking in, we'd like to get an idea of anyone else who's gotten the CSC transfer and hasn't budged yet, or if others have.

We kinda think that maybe at this time of year we won't see jack, it is the holiday season after all...

We were transferred in August and still nothing. Hope this helps.

It varies a lot. My wife was transferred to CSC Aug 19th, and approved Dec 10th, so almost 3 months.

No news here either so you're not alone. What's up with CSC putting California filers in the back burner? Seems like people filing from elsewhere got transferred to CSC. Oh well....we should be used to the waiting game by now. :whistle:
