I also received another Email today saying card production ordered this time for the 9th.

i think that means I am definitely getting a card :)

Just wanted to join the band wagon and say that my husband is also waiting for the interview letter. Hope this all goes by quick...

Question!

We are renting in an apartment with another couple...we currently dont have any utilities because our rent includes those kinds of charges. We have joint bank accounts and credit cards together. What else can we use for proof?

Got my interview today for my AOS, and I got approved. My appointment was set at 9:00 a.m. The officer was so nice and she just ask a few personal questions about us like, our full name, where we live, my current occupation and thats all. She don't asked any evidences. After that she congratulate both of us and she said that everything was fine.

When we got home and check my status online, it says: "card production ordered". To those who have waiting for their interview, goodluck. And to all my vj friends thank you very much for all the support that you extended to me.

Hi everyone sorryjust got home but I made a phone call to my friend gemindsims to spread here the good news :P Approved :dance::dance::dance: Its a nice lady that interviewed us at around 9:40 we were done by 9:58. The normal proceedings I guess she ask our names, whendid we go tmarried, the joint statements, such as bank account, utility bills, our health insurance etc. Its funny because I was giving her this paperworks to her and explaining what it is then she said oh ok this is enough hehe :D Then she ask for our photos and its 3 album from the first meeting to the second to the wedding and she get like 6 to 8 of each album, so she had lots of photos of us like i guess 20 to 25 hehe. Then she said shes gonna approved me.. We talked for awhile shes a psychology major and she noted that im a registered nurse and few chit chat. Then she give me like a welcome letter is that how everybody gets? I thought they will send it thru the mail?

And I came home and i have done the address change online because we paid the new apartment already and I can send my mails there now. So that is the reason too why I wasnt able to go home fast. And I looked online and my case doesnt change yet. It says still pending. Anybody had this case? And about the welcome letter did the IO gave you one? its like 2 piece of paper that she gave me. Thank God this is over. Still im worried that my GC will be lost in the mail <_<

Anyways thanks everyone for your support huggs to my july family :dance:

Hmm wonder why my case online is not yet updated it still says pending...and its 5 pm now here in our place and our interview was done by 9:58 am..Did anyone had this experience? And btw, how many papers did the IO gave to you? SHe gave me 2 papers, one says welcome like a welcome letter or something, will this not be sent on the mail though? ANyone? Ty :-)

Oh and I just want to share that I already had my address change since we will move in the 10 day frame and we just signed a lease agreement awhile ago and they said we can have mail sent to there already. So from now till we move in the 20th I don't know if our new place will have my GC or not. But I did the change of address online and thru phone and they said that they will send a confirmation letter within 45 days so the confirmation letter will arrive in our new place and i wont see it till we move. Have anybody experience this before? Its complicated although im happy that I got approved imi worried that my GC will got lost in the mail. :wacko:

I got 1 piece of paper stating that the IO was recommending us to be approved and my case status online changed by noon. Seeing how the web services are so unreliable I would stress too much about it.

Hi rouge thank you so much..it was not change until now.i hope all is still good. She gave me 2 pieces of paper. 1 is saying a notice to the permanent resident and the other one says welcome to the united states. :unsure:
