Thank you hon. My husband just told me that he received the NOAs (all 3) in the mail today. I of course had him open them up immediately and give me the receipt numbers just to check online, but they arent found yet. lol :thumbs:

We're still waiting for our NOAs. I hope we get it soon so we can check online as well.....hmmm.....deja vu? LOL!

Hi to everyone just have my biometrics done today!yay! My original appointment date is August 12 and I received my biometrics appointment yesterday and I just tried my luck and walk-in today. THank God its thats done now. Good luck to all of us :jest:

I was so happy to see two envelopes in the mail yesterday! NOAs for I-485 and I-765 :thumbs:

Let's hope biometrics appointments come soon!

Does anybody know if we're allowed to drive with our driving licence from back home? Mine is from Romania and it's in English too. Any chance for me to drive legally with that until I get EAD and SSN? No American driving licence until then from what I know.... :unsure:

- jun 12 - medical and interview passed! Visa in the passport!!!

- aug 6 - Bio letter

- aug 11 - RFE e-mail (I-864)

- aug 19 - Biometrics done (they scanned my little fingers maybe 20 times because fingerprints were not clear enough :P )

It depends on the state you live in...Some states allow you to drive with an international license...you'd have to contact you local DMV and ask them what the procedures are.

Hi to co-july filers! I just tried my luck my appointment place was here at SANTA ANA, CA. They were courteous and they didnt even see at my appointment day. There's no harm in trying if you really want to see if it will work in your state? Unless of course if it will be alot of pain to go to the support center near you? like hours of driving? Its all up to you I guess to try? LEt's keep hoping and praying that everything goes well. GOOD LUCK AND BLESSINGS TO US! :dance:

Our online status hasn't changed even though we did the biometrics back in 7-18. We haven't seen any "touch" messages so I'm a little confused about what I see online.

A few questions?

What happened to your online after biometrics?

How do you know when touched?

Was it visible online when it was transferred?

Here is how ours looks.

I mailed my husbands I-485, I-131, I-765 on July 21. They received it on July 22 and I just received the NOA-1s for all 3 today, dated July 25, 2008.

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received
